Dominguez for her support and
encouragement of her art
students to participate. She is
the teacher for 50 of the kids
who entered.

Midland High's TAFE organization: Texas Association of Future Educators Participated in Midland's Christmas parade Saturday evening. With the help of the Midland Fire Department this group showed off their Midland High pride and blazing bright future.

Friday, Midland High School hosted all MISD third graders for the Storytelling Festival. The storytellers
were from Texas, Illinois, and North Carolina. The festival continued through Saturday at First
Presbyterian Church
The MHS PTSA Reflections judging was held today and our students really impressed the judges with their creative art work. We had 59 entries (55 Visual Arts, 2 Literature, and 2 Photography.) I want to give special recognition to Adriana Dominguez for her support and encouragement of her art students to participate. She is the teacher for 50 of the kids who entered. It will be Wednesday, December 13 at 12:15 in Conference room A. 6 of our MHS students will advance on to the Midland Council of PTA contest

Next week brings the finale for our SAFE 2 SAVE
Competitions! They all end on December 15th and we will
find out who has won the student and parent competitions
as well as hand out our last drawing prize!

Bring toys for children at the soup kitchen by this Friday, December 15th. -New Toys -The winning advisory will get a party from student council

2017-2018 National Pin Design Winners
Madison Galindo and Jacqueline Huerta, are two of the four pin design winners chosen by the BPA Board of Directors.
Madison Galindo and Jacqueline Huerta will be recognized on stage February 28, 2018 at the Wednesday night State Leadership Conference Special Recognition Ceremony taking place at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi.
This is a National Leadership Conference award and both young ladies have qualified to attend NLC 2018 in Dallas. The four pins will be traded with attendees during this conference.
