Sporting Khalsa are the new leaders of the Premier Division following a 2-0 win at Racing Club Warwick, Josh
McKenzie with a brace. Walsall Wood were held at home by Highgate United, Ryan Conlon with the equaliser for
The Gate. Heather St Johns maintained their unbeaten start with a 2-0 home win over Worcester City despite being
reduced to 10 men. Danny Meadows scored twice as Newark Flowserve beat Haughmond 2-0 at Lowfields. Long
Eaton United are 5th, Niall Towle scoring twice in their 3-1 win at Romulus. South Normanton Athletic bounced back
from last weekend’s heavy defeat with a 3-1 win over Stourport Swifts. Boldmere St Michaels are off the bottom
following a 1-1 draw at home to Coventry United. Gresley slip to bottom spot as they were beaten 3-1 at The Moat
Ground by Lye Town. Coventry Sphinx responded to their heavy defeat at Newark with a 1-0 win at AFC
Wulfrunians, Lawrence Rawlings with the goal. Selston and Tividale draw 1-1 at Parish Hall, both goals in the last 5
minutes.

There was a superb game at Sheepy Road where Uttoxeter Town maintained joint top spot with a 5-2 win at
Atherstone Town. Kyle Esplin and substitute Matt Redshaw both scored twice for Uttoxeter while Jack Tolley saved a
Joe Obi penalty with the score at 3-1. Brocton retained top spot with a 2-1 victory over Paget Rangers at Silkmore
Lane. Lichfield City are 3rd as Luke Childs scored a last minute winner to beat Stafford Town 3-2 at The City Ground.
Hinckley AFC slipped to 5th as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Cadbury Athletic at the TSA. Leicester Road move into
4th as Matt Langham scored a hat-trick in their 4-0 win at Stapenhill. Studley climb into 6th, Sean Cooke with the only
goal of the game at Ashby Ivanhoe. Nuneaton Griff are off the bottom following a 3-0 win over Chelmsley Town
who replace them in 20th place. Conor McEwan scored twice for Griff. Rocester and Kirby Muxloe shared the spoils
with a 2-2 draw at Hillsfield, Jordan Dodd with both for the Romans. Heath Hayes climbed to 13th place with a fine 2-
1 win at NKF Burbage, Matthew Alport with the winner in the 89th minute.

Champions Northfield Town moved to within three points of the leaders with a 7-1 win at in-form Barnt Green
Spartak. The home side took the lead early through Reuel Prescod, but Northfield clinched the points with Tom
Craine scoring twice and Jack McGinn with a hat-trick. Feckenham are level on points in 3rd place following a 3-0 win
at Bolehall Swifts. Earlswood Town are off the mark as they won 3-2 at Hampton to move two places up the table.
Knowle and Boldmere Sports drew 1-1 at The Robin’s Nest which leaves them in 4th and 5th respectively. Alcester
Town are up to 6th, Daniel Pitt scoring twice in their 4-2 win at Lane Head.
Costas Lautaru scored twice as Moor Green extended their lead at the top of the table with a 4-1 win over Coton
Green in torrential rain.

beat Leamington Hibernian 2-0 at The Glades. Marcus Shaw scored the only goal of the game as WLV Football won
1-0 at Shipston Excelsior. Enville Athletic moved up to 11th with a fine 4-0 win over Castle Vale Town at Hall Drive,
Matthew Parke with a hat-trick.

Studley were clinical against Lane Head in the Smedley Crooke Memorial Charity Cup winning 15-0 at The Beehive.
Odane Barnes scored four, Alex Dugmore and Dale Edwards bagged hat-tricks and there was a brace for Dan Carter.
Stourport Swifts and Worcester Raiders fought out a 1-1 draw in the Worcestershire Senior Cup. In the penalty
shoot-out, it was Raiders, with an outfield player in goal, that came through winning 4-2.

Premier Division
The opening game of the weekend kicks off at Noon when Coventry United welcome Racing Club Warwick to The
Butts Park Arena. Leaders Sporting Khalsa welcome Romulus to the Aspray Arena. Khalsa have a 100% record at
home in the league will Roms are unbeaten in their last three league games away from Castle Vale. 2nd placed
Walsall Wood entertain Tividale who have made a good impression following promotion from the West Midlands
League. Heather St Johns are unbeaten in the league and they travel to Coventry Sphinx who are unbeaten at home
in the league. 4th placed Newark Flowserve have a 100% record in the league away from home and they travel to
Walshes Meadow to face Stourport Swifts who have won all their home league games. Long Eaton United are the
division’s leading scorers and they travel to The Victoria Ground to face Worcester City who they beat 4-0 back in
August. South Normanton Athletic have made an excellent start to the season and they travel to AFC Wulfrunians
who sit comfortably in the middle of the table. Bottom cub Gresley welcome Highgate United to The Moat Ground.
Highgate are just two points ahead of Gresley, incentive enough for the home side to gain their first win of the
campaign. Boldmere St Michaels have had two successive draws under new management. They travel to Lye Town
who have lost two out of their three home games. 16th meets 17th at Parish Hall as Selston entertain Haughmond.
With the sides having the two worst goal differences in the division, this is an opportunity for one of them to open a
three point gap on their opponents.
TUESDAY 8th OCTOBER 2019 Highgate United v Heather St. John's
Division 1
This weekend’s action begins on Friday evening when Paget Rangers welcome Rocester to Coles Lane for an 8pm
kick off. All of Paget’s points have come at home while Rocester have one defeat in the last 5. Leaders Brocton travel
to Kirby Muxloe who have won four out of 5 home games. Uttoxeter Town had the result of last weekend and they
welcome Nuneaton Griff, who have won their last two, to Oldfields. 3rd placed Lichfield City travel to Pack Meadow
to face bottom club Chelmsley Town. City are the division’s top scorers while Chelmsley have conceded the most.
Leicester Road are up to 4th following three straight victories. They host Cadbury Athletic who have one defeat in
their last five games. 6th meets 7th at The Beehive with Atherstone Town the visitors to Studley. The Adders saw
manager Ivor Green resign last weekend and they will want to bounce back following two straight defeats. Studley
have won their last five in the league, so this promises to be a tasty affair. Ashby Ivanhoe had their recent good run
halted last weekend and they will be looking to start again as they travel to Allards Way to face Coventry
Copsewood who won their only home league game two weeks ago. There is a local derby at The Welfare Ground as
5th placed Hinckley host NKF Burbage. Both sides have seen plenty of goals this season and this should continue. 13th
meets 12th at The Coppice Colliery Ground as Heath Hayes host Stapenhill. Stapenhill have lost their last three while
Heath Hayes had a good win on the road last week. Stafford Town welcome GNP Sports to Evans Park. Town have
won one in four while GNP have won their last two

Division 2
Leaders Moor Green welcome Bolehall Swifts to the Trevor Brown Memorial ground for the third meeting of the
two sides this season. It currently stands at 9-0 to Moor Green after two victories. Champions Northfield Town have
been racking up the goals in recent weeks as they look to defend their title. They host FC Stratford who have spent
the last month in cup action. Knowle are joint second on goal difference and they travel to Barnt Green Spartak
whose recent excellent run was halted by Northfield last weekend. Earlswood Town picked up their first points of
the season last weekend to move off the bottom of the table. They travel to Alcester Town who have one win in
three. Boldmere Sports & Social Falcons travel to Fairfield Villa with both sides showing improvement after slow
starts to the season. Hampton entertain Lane Head and with the sides conceding 64 goals in 15 games, this should
see plenty of action.
Division 3
Leaders Sutton United have dropped just two points in the league this season. They entertain 10th placed Castle Vale
Town who have had better results in cup competitions. There is a Coventry derby at the Colliery Sports Ground as
Coventrians host 2nd placed Coventry Plumbing. Central Ajax can move into the top three if they can get the better
