MIDDLESEX COUNTY ARCHERY ASSOCIATION VISITORS CLOUT TOURNAMENT & COUNTY CLOUT CHAMPIONSHIP UK Record Status awarded + Tassel Award Shoot Saturday 28 th October 2017 Venue: Ashford Sports Club, Short Lane, Stanwell, Staines, Middlesex TW19 7BQ (From M25 Junct 13 (Staines junction) take the A30 towards London. Ground is third left (Short Lane) after Ashford Hospital. From London follow the A4, then A30 towards Staines. ½ mile after Clockhouse Lane roundabout, turn left into slip road follow signs to cross carriageway, proceed back the way you have just come for 50 yards. Turn left into Short Lane. (See map on page 2) Sighters: 10:30am (6 sighters in each direction) Special note – Please aim to arrive early as all archers to present their bows for equipment inspection by the judges. Round: Two-way double clout (Imperial distances) Distances: Men 180yds Ladies 140yds Juniors 140yds, 120yds, 100yds, 80yds according to age at 28 th Oct. (NB late entries on the day must shoot the distances already set out and space permitting) Awards: County and Visitor awards for recurve, barebow, compound and longbow according to entry. Voluntary £1 sweep raffle for most “petticoats” Instruction: All participants must have had previous instruction in Clout shooting.
