High School (HS) NOTE: Students who successfully complete a high school course

in middle school with a 70 or better will receive credit towards high school graduation.

Each semester grade and credit earned will be recorded on the transcript and will be included in the student’s grade point average and class rank.

For students who fail TAKS or are at-risk of failing TAKS, will lose an elective(s) and participate in a mandatory academic recovery program, every effort should be made to avoid pulling the student from their CTE high school credit course; however, if this becomes necessary, the student will NOT earn the high school credit.
