Hardware and Tools Middle East is an important business platform to find out the requirements of

projects of all scales and complexities. It’s our opportunity to show case our range of products, meet

and establish a direct connection with buyers and to increase the efficiency of our business.

The 19th Edition of Hardware & Tools Middle East was held at the Dubai International Exhibition and

convention center from April 2nd to 4th 2018. We as Middle East Fuji Industrial Solution Department

also displayed our products in the show as a Gold sponsor. We were present at Hall 8 stand number

8-F11 in the expert zone.

Middle East Fuji also participated in the ‘Tool it challenge’. The competition featured 20 technicians

over 4 categories: Wire Crimping, Pipe Cutting, Plumbing And Metal Drilling. The top 3 from each

category received a certificate and medal while the winners received special prizes from the sponsors

Nitto Kohki, Knipex and 3M.

Ms. Lara Haddad (3M Gulf), Mr. Prashant Psadagalekar (3M Gulf), Mr. Prashant Belame (3M Gulf),

Mr. Suhas Paste (Knipex, Germany) were also present in our stand. We thank them for the support

during the show.

Complete solutions for highest requirements in tube and pipe welding preparation up to orbital

welding – all from one source. Orbitalum Tools GmbH is your competent partner for orbital

tube and pipe preparation and orbital welding technology for industrial piping systems,

prefabrication and maintenance.

MIDDLE EAST FUJI is an authorized distributor for Orbitalum tools for almost 10 years till now

and we sell and service their equipment’s.

On 8th of March 2018, Middle East Fuji Industrial Solutions team attended a technical training

conducted by Orbitalum Technical Team at their Jebal Ali Free Zone work shop. A detailed

training on Orbital Tube to Tube and tube to tube sheet TIG welding was conducted.

Mr. Ramachandran Gopinath and Mr. Andrews from EH Wachs - Orbitalum led the training.

The training was very interesting and involved hands on which helped team members to get

used to the machines.

Shiptek International Maritime Awards 2018, was organized by Biz Events Management , the two-day

International Conference On Maritime, Offshore And Oil & Gas, which was successfully concluded

at Dusit Thani Hotel, Dubai on 1st – 2nd May 2018. The conference was inaugurated by Mr. Hamad

Al Maghrabi, MS Operations General Manager,Abu Dhabi Marine Services – SAFEEN.

Moving steadily into its successful 9th year, ShipTek is a journey of exploration, revelation and awe,

which continues to mark its legacy as a benchmark event in the maritime industry. A perfect amalga-

mation of innovative ideas and infotainment, this two day conference promises to present before you

a much bigger experience. The event offered cutting edge presentations which contributed to a

step-change in the Marine Engineering, Offshore technology, Engineering & Communication and

Naval Architecture sectors and enthralled the audience with some of the most inspiring and insightful

talks.

On Behalf of Middle East Fuji, Mr. Saeed Al Malik, ISSA President, Vice Chairman – Dubai Maritime

Advisory Council, President and CEO of Middle East Fuji , was recognized as “BESTOWED WITH PER-

SONALITY OF THE YEAR AWARD” at Shiptek International Maritime Awards 2018. Middle East Fuji

was represented at the awards ceremony by Mr. Sivaprasad Pillai, Manager of Marine Supply Division

of MEF Group and Mr. Jibu Mathew, Sales Manager-Industrial Solution.

Besides the much-appreciated conference, the event also witnessed a dazzling award ceremony where

industry veterans who have been instrumental in proposing creative solutions were honored for their

accomplishments. The Chief Guest for the Award Ceremony was Dr. Rashid Alleem – Chairman, Shar-

jah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA).

With a record participation, SHIPTEK 2018 continued the success streak of its predecessors both in

terms of attendance and quality of the event.

In its continuing efforts to foster companywide health awareness, Middle East Fuji organised a Free Eye Check-up

with corporate discount on Eyeglasses and Contact Lenses, for its employees. This event was successfully held on

3rd,April 2018. A team of two headed by Mr. Alby Abraham, Marketing Manager ,optometrist Mrs. Nikitha -Sera

opticals , examined employees who conducted digital and manual assessments.

Most people who signed up for the check-up were aware of their numbers but not alerted about increase in the

number or further deterioration The initiative had screened many of our employees including Mr. Saeed Al Malik,

President and CEO of Middle East Fuji Group and almost half of them were found to have some refractive

errors.

At MIDDLE EAST FUJI LLC, we are committed to build awareness of health issues and to encourage our employees to undertake preventive health care ultimatelyto create a healthier culture within our company.

“In this digital era, people are busy spending most of their

time either on laptops or smart phones and this is seriously

impacting our eye health. Most of MEF employees who signed

up for a free test are glad they took the test as many had no

time to go to the optometrist. And we are confident that this

would help our employees to become more aware of the

importance of preventive eye car. Now they are able to take

quick corrective action.”

We would like to thank Ms. Sarah Jane Autor for taking initiative to organize this event successfully.

FREE EYE CHECKUP

MIDDLE EAST FUJI Group has recently opened a new showroom in

Baniyas Square, right at the heart of Deira market, to exhibit Nitto Kohki, 3M, Knipex / Wera, Weicon

and Graco products to meet the customer expectations and market’s growing demand of these

brands for traders and Resellers.

The Showroom was inaugurated with cutting of ribbon by Mr. Saeed

Abdulkarim AlMalik, President and CEO of MEF Group, in the presence

of Mr. Biji Joseph , General Manager of MEF Group and Mr. Jibu Mathew,

Sales Manager for Industrial Solution, and Mr. Leo Quadros, showroom-in

-charge and the staff.

The new showroom is well equipped with the latest Nitto Kohki, 3M, Knipex /Wera, Weicon and Graco

products. The sales and service engineers in the department are confident enough to provide solu-

tions to the customers based on their needs and requirement.

MEF goal is “To achieve the highest level of customer’s satisfaction

throughout and to ensure that the products and services fully meets with

the requirements of the customer expectations.”

Being the authorized distributors of various distinguished brands , Middle

East Fuji LLC - Industrial solution will continue to revolutionize and

expand its market in UAE and whole of Middle East and Africa regions

respectively. It has indeed been a remarkable journey so far and MEF is

confident enough to support and encourage the customers.

Mr. Ryusaku Hayashi, Managing Director of Middle East Fuji LLC Group, has always dreamt of establishing a back-office in the Philippines, five years ago. He keeps on motivating himself and believes that this new footstep will bring closer to reaching MEF’s Vision “To be the Best Service Provider in the Region.”

With the full support of Mr. Saeed Abdulkarim AlMalik, President and CEO of MEF Group, and Mr. Biji Joseph, General Manager of MEF Group, this long-time dream turned into reality on June 01, 2018. Middle East Fuji LLC – Philippine Office was officially opened at Mandaue City Cebu, Philippines.

The office was started with full force of women. Four fresh yet competent staff were deployed from MEF Dubai – Ms. Marina Baniaga, Ms. Sarah Jane Autor, Ms. Pearl Jade Bello, and Ms. Amor Cadenas together with six local hired staff, they have launched successfully and smoothly the new office.

Middle East Fuji LLC has joined Beautyworld Exhibition this year for a distinctive

presence as we had our own booth for SNAP.

The Exhibition took place in Dubai World Trade Centre from 8 – 10 May 2018.

Mr. Majdi Ali the brand owner from Broadworld, Ms. Rola Wehbe General Manager of

Lifestyle Division, Mr. Biji Joseph MEF General Manager and the International Trading

Team (Yessa, Sherona Cruz, Kristine De Jesus and Rania Ahmed) attended the Exhibi-

tion.

In the exhibition, we have met lot of retailers, distributors, individuals and others from

all over the world who were very interested in our special brand, SNAP.

We have succeeded to conduct meetings with some of the perfumes’ market leaders

from around the world and we are aiming to establish successful business relationships

with them.

One of our biggest concerns in the Exhibition was to reach a wide range of distributors

to launch Snap in different countries.

And further to our goal to expand Lifestyle Division, we were looking for other new

brands for distribution, we got some offers from different brands which we are currently

in the process of choosing the best of them.

Some visitors already took the purchasing decision direct from the booth and it was a

great chance to reach each and every one from the public and visitors showed the

admire to Snap, they were attracted by the smell spread around the booth.

In the month of May 2018, Middle East Fuji hosted a Department

Dinner for all the employees at Hard Rock and Holiday Inn.

It was an evening of laughter, good vibes, delicious food, dance and

live music.

The main aim of this Departments Dinner was to encourage team

building and nurture good relations with the staff and to integrate

them and familiarize with the company values.
