Female TRIAD Issues

Aim:

Improve awareness of female TRIAD issues especially among young athletes - strategies for early identification, support options, develop best practice guidelines, education re training levels for female athletes

Iron out health/injury issues before athletes get to carding level - have pool of data available for future studies of development athletes

Aim:

Keep connected with all athletes on US scholarships – assist with transition back to NZ training/racing

Ongoing role to deal with athletes on US scholarships

Physiology PHD (Middle distance profiling)

Aim:

Profiling NZ athletes in the anaerobic/aerobic middle ground to identify traits of elite performers and give our coaches information/evidence based recommendations re individual training optimisation.

PHD student hired. Develop scope of project. Could specifically target 200/400m runners with 800 potential

Aim:

Advisory for MH / SW
