ISSUES FACED

FINANCERS ISSUES

1. DP issues with the financers Normally they demand 25 to 30 % of the asset value as DPwhereas for other brands they do the same with 15 to 20 % of the asset value

2. They arent that keen in financing Doosan Equipment on account of Low resale value of

the equipment and our brand is compared with that of HYUNDAI3. The MOU terms existing with the financers are unknown at their regional levels

ACTIONS TAKEN In order to create better amicable relationships with the financers routine financersDoosan

meeting has been proposed so to built up the rapport , further assistance required from HOfor providing the necessary solution

ISSUES FACED

ORDERS lost particularly in terms of 8 to 15 ton equipment class

3 orders for S 150 and 8 orders for S 80 has been lost on account of high pricing as comparedto other brands available in the market

ACTIONS TAKENWe are all working to incorporate value selling and bringing customers into DOOSAN folds

eg An existing customer ( Pradip Adhikari )of S 80 , inspite of DP value being 30 % of theasset value , purchased the same last month in May 2012 .

ACTION PLAN To Enhance Business in EAST post Monsson

1. Demarcation of GNB Sales Team Demographically both for east and North east so to allowproper coverage which at this point is not present

2. Area Development by organising DEMO and road shows in the following areas to tap thebusiness in the following regions

WB- Durgapur , Asansol , Mecheda , Haldia , Rampurhaat ,Naulhati , Sikkim NE- Upper & Lower Assam , Areas in Arunachal and parts in Dimapur and adjoining areas Jharkhand- Pakur , Barharwa ,Sahebganj , Mirzachauki , Deoghar

3. Doosan Sales representative is a must in North East so to improve the market there
