3D MODELLING MID - TERM EXAM Mid – Term assignment. 1. Construct the walls, roof, windows and door of the building. Draw the main façade with details as it shown in photo (arched windows, door, second metal door is opened, shutters are opened or closed). Roof can be done as a ﬂat surface. All dimensions are given in millimetres. 2. Apply materials: walls – white brick, roof – metal, external door - metal, second door – glass and plastic, windows – glass and plastic, window arches – red brick, shutters – white painted, basement – concrete. 3. Set sun, sky and shadows. 4. Make 2 renders from different points of view (1024x768) 5. All materials (2 renders + dwg model) must be submitted at the 12,30 by USB. Evaluation criteria: 1. Detalisation of the model. (55%) - Windows and door should be drawn with glass and frame, - Shutters should be opened or closed as in picture, - Arched details and window frame should be completed 2. Materials. (15%) - Materials should be applied to all surfaces - Materials should be scaled as in photo 3. Sun, sky and shadows. (15%) - Sun must be set in Tirana, current day and time - To view shadows draw the ground plane 4. Rendering. (15%) - Renders should be done in high quality in given size. - Renders must be from different points of view - Composition of the image: the model must be in the centre of the picture.
