JUMP EVENTS 6.0 Judging used for all Jump events

Entrants will qualify according to their Free Skate level. Beginner through Juvenile levels will be skated on half-ice. Intermediate through Senior levels will be skated on full ice. Jumps should be performed exactly as stated. Skaters will be given two opportunities to perform each jump and will be judged on the best one. Each skater will perform all of her/his jumps in sequence. For example, if the two jumps to be performed are the double flip and the double loop, Skater #1 will take the ice individually and be given two attempts at the double flip. Skater #1 will then be given two attempts for the double loop. The process will then be repeated for Skater #2, and the rest of the skaters. An axel will be considered a single jump. In situations where the skater is given the choice of the jumps to be performed, the first attempt will determine the jumps to be judged and the skater will not be allowed to change jumps on the second attempt.
