Application ProcedureStep 1: Tour.

If your child is currently enrolled in a program, his or her current or most recent teacher must fill out the attached Teacher Recommendation Form. Applications can be submitted by mail or in person to your first choice campus. Applications will not be considered unless submitted with the required, non-refundable application fee. Applications must be postmarked no later than Friday, February 7, 2020. Please note that applications are not considered in the order received; all applications go into a general pool from which students are chosen. No priority is given based on application date, and applications may not be submitted more than a year in advance. Please apply only for the coming School Year. If you are looking to enroll and the School Year has already begun, contact the campus you are interested in directly to schedule a tour and check availability.

Step 3: Receive confirmation. Once we have received your application and fee, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a date by which you should receive notification of our decision.

Step 4: Await notification. After we have reviewed all of the applications, you will receive a letter stating whether or not we are able to accommodate your child during the School Year for which you have applied. These letters will be sent out on February 28, 2020. If we are not able to accommodate your child, we will keep his/her application on file during the remainder of the School Year in the event that an opening arises.

Cedar Crest Academy’s2018- 2020-2021 School Year Monthly Tuition

You Young Preschool – Pre-KindergartenTuition is paid monthly in accordance with a signed Enrollment Agreement. Cedar Crest requires that tuition payments are made through Tuition Express, an automatic tuition withdrawal program (ACH). The process is simple and convenient, and has no cost to parents. Tuition withdrawals will be drawn on the 1 st of each month for that month’s fee. In the event that the 1st of the month falls on a weekend or holiday, tuition will be withdrawn on the day prior (Example: If May 1st falls on a Saturday, tuition will be processed on Friday, April 30th).

Monthly tuition for Full Day program includes:- Morning snack, hot lunch, and afternoon snack. All fruits, vegetables, and milk are organic.- Two or three Specialists per grade level selected each year by the school. Some examples of Specialists in the

past have been: Music, Spanish, Drama, Tumble Bus (Gymnastics), Physical Education.

Discounts:- 10% discount for single parent families- 10% sibling discount (applies to each additional sibling)- Tuition is not pro-rated or discounted for vacations, time away, or school closures.- Only one discount may be applied. Discounts may not be combined.

Deposit and Annual Fees:A non-refundable security deposit of one month’s tuition is required to reserve your child’s space. The security deposit will be credited towards June’s tuition. A Registration fee of $150 and an Education fee of $350 are also required upon enrollment and are assessed annually during preregistration. Deposit and Annual Fees are non-refundable.

Parent participation in our Cedar Crest Academy Parent Association is mandatory and requires an annual membership fee of approximately $100 per child. Cedar Crest Academy also requires families to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours throughout the school year.
