IREM Chapter 77 advances its presence and shapes the real estate management profession through deliberate, systematic marketing methodologies and purposeful communication efforts utilizing technology and advertising to promote Region 3 Education, AMO firms, and all designations including ACoM.

Organize for Growth

IREM Chapter 77’s platforms and networks are directed toward growing the organization with respect to membership retention of CPM, ARM, ACoM and Candidate members, recruiting and engaging AMO firms, maintaining the chapter’s financial stability through new revenue sources, and recruiting and retaining a diverse pool of committed volunteers.Manage for Quality IREM Chapter 77 competes by providing exemplary membership services, and through organized and thoughtful succession plans for smooth transitions in chapter leadership.

Build Community

IREM Chapter 77 serves the community and expands its network by ensuring the Industry Partner program is mutually beneficial, by increasing membership participation in community service events, and through collaboration with local chapters and in regional events.

IREM Chapter 77 will be the first choice of real estate managers, owners, developers, and investors in the Greater Washington DC Metro area. We will lead the way in education and have a meaningful presence in IREM governance.

Focus on GROWTH and Retention!

Promote IREM through personal outreach to local management companies and students and through the use of online advertisements, social media, chapter webpage and newsletters.

Target likely companies who might want to provide private offerings to help their employees earn IREM credentials and then work with those groups to complete membership requirements.

Reinforce the power of member engagement through quality programming and thought leadership; provide meaning professional development topics at general membership meetings (especially about technology) and create opportunities for young professionals to learn about IREM through IYP programming.

Support growth and enhance member services to provide better value to our members and candidates in terms of candidate guidance, job placement and student outreach.

Embrace and value differences and welcome individuals of all races, genders, creeds, ages, sexual orientations, gender identities, and national origins and individuals with disabilities, providing an equal opportunity environment among its members, vendors, and staff.

Engage our Community!

Cross market courses, events and seminars to other industry associations (BOMA, CCIM, PMA, etc.).

Strengthen our alliances with the larger real estate community by continually enhancing our Industry Partner and web advertising programs.

Deepen and broaden connections with local academic institutions.

Support our neighborhoods by funding our community involvement committee and encouraging active engagement of our members in several hands-on initiatives to help those in need.

Continue our Commitment to Excellence in Chapter Leadership!

Execute the chapter’s financial plan to achieve a goal of having a reserve account equal to 1/4 of the chapter’s annual expenses.

Incorporate sustainability initiatives into the way our chapter conducts business (recycling, reduced paper, increased use in technology).

Continue enhancing our leadership development program to include succession planning, and providing resources, support and exposure to local, regional and national programs and conferences.

Actively seek committed leaders who are diverse in their backgrounds and passionate about IREM and our chapter’s
