The status of the individual will be driven from their Outlook calendar, manual setting or current activity: Green = Available = No Meetings Red = Busy = Currently in Meeting Red/White Line = Do Not Disturb = Manually Set Yellow = Not Active for > 5 Minutes or Custom Status Share what you are currently working on (i.e., projects, operational work, etc.) with your colleagues. Contacts Icon (left): Find a colleague from your directory using the “Find someone” field. Conversations Icon (middle): Review conversations grouped by All, Missed and Calls. Meetings Icon (right): Review your agenda for the day (pulled from Outlook). Groups: Manage and customize how categorize your contacts. Status: See the status of all contacts categorized by Online, Away, Unknown and Unavailable. Relationships: See a broader range of contacts including Friends and Family, Workgroup, Colleagues, External Contacts and Blocked Contacts. New: People who’ve added you as a contact will show up here. Double-click a contact to initiate a conversation via instant message.

Double-click a contact to initiate a conversation via instant message.

Click the A to change your font type, color and size. Click the smile icon to insert emotions. Click Manage Presentation Content to share your whole desktop or certain programs/attachments. Click Start My Video to conduct a video chat with the individual you are instant messaging with. Click Call to talk directly to the individual you are instant messaging, using your computers microphone. Click Messages to minimize or maximize the text window. Multiple chat windows will populate on the left side of your current chat. The current chat you are in will be highlighted blue.

Chat text will automatically be archived in the Conversation History folder in your Outlook account. The status of the individual will be driven from their Outlook calendar, manual setting or current activity.Click Invite More People to invite additional individuals to your chat.
