Every Micro Guard 99 lter is individually tested at the factory before it is shipped.

Choose from particle board, re retardant particleboard, re retardant plywood, galvanized steel, stainlesssteel, formed aluminum or anodized aluminum.

Wet laid paper produced from glass micro bers,Micro Guard 99 media is water and heat resistant. Tecontinuous media sheet is subject to eleven distinct testsand inspections prior to shipment.

Micro Guard 99 lters utilize a unique score fold designdeveloped by Airguard. Tis channel design increasesmedia surface area and reduces opportunities for mediadamage during handling and installation.

Expanded metal faceguards in galvanized steel, stainlesssteel or aluminum can be furnished on one or both sidesof the lter.

Utilizing Airguard's hemmed (rolled) safety edge,corrugated aluminum separators allow for maximummedia utilization. Te design minimizes risk of mediapuncture, adds overall lter pack rigidity and stability,and offers maximum air ow through the lter. Separatormaterials offered include aluminum, vinyl coatedaluminum, and kraft paper.

Te entire media pack is bonded to the interior of the cellsides with urethane sealant. Silicone bond is used in hightemperature models (500oF).

Dove tail interlocking urethane gaskets are standard onMicro Guard 99. Gaskets are 3/4" x 1/4" and are furnishedas standard on the air leaving (downstream) side of thelter. Silicone gaskets are used on high temperaturemodels. Gel seal lters are also available.

Micro Guard 2000 high capacity HEPA lters aredesigned for use in higher air ow applications up to

500 FPM. Tey offer a wide range of operating and costadvantages including:

standard air ow rates. Micro Guard 2000 lters haveonly .60" W.G. resistance at 1000 CFM.

High capacity operation is achieved by designingadditional media into the lters 50% more thanstandard capacity HEPAs. Decreased height of thecorrugated separators enables the lter to contain morepleats, more media.

If designing a new system, Micro Guard 2000 lters canreduce the space required for HEPA lters by installing

one half the quantity normally speci ed. Delivery of2000 CFM at only 1.35" W.G. or 1500 CFM at 1.0" W.G. offers a wide range of space saving opportunities.

If renovating an existing system, selection of highcapacity lters means longer service life, lowerresistance, lower energy cost, lower maintenanceexpenses and less disposal cost, if existing air owrates are maintained. Micro Guard 2000 ltersare directly interchangeable with standard HEPAlters.
