General

This kit makes it possible to equip the MicroPower Outdoor System with an Over Voltage

Protection (OVP) unit. The OVP device protects the system from voltage spikes and surge

currents transmitted by the mains input. This over voltage protection kit contains a class C

protection. A class B protection must be mounted externally on the cabinets mains feed if

required.

Installation must be done by authorized personnel only.

Eltek Energy recommends that the system is powered down before installation of the kit.

Recommended tools

Standard equipment used by an authorized electrician. NOTE: All tools must be insulated.

Torque settings

The screw terminals on the OVP base must be tightened with 3.0Nm. The green/yellow earthcable must be fixed with a M6 nut to the PE copper plate with 6.0Nm.
