General
The Kit for Floor Mounting makes it possible to fix the MicroPower Outdoor Cabinet
securely to the ground/floor. Minimum 2 persons should cooperate during this installation.Installation must be done by authorized personnel only.
Eltek Energy recommends that the system is powered down before installation of the kit.
Recommended tools
Standard equipment used by an authorized electrician. NOTE: All tools must be insulated.
Lifting equipment should be used for safety reasons.
Torque settings
• M8 screws for cabinet to plinth: 10Nm
• M12 screws (not delivered with this kit) for plinth to ground: Minimum 15Nm
• M5 screw for front panel: 7Nm

Installation
Step Description Comment OK
1 Drill 4 holes for the plinth
into the pad/floor. SeeFigure 1 for a drilling
template.
2 Mount the plinth to the
pad/floor. The
screws/anchors for fixing
the plinth to the pad are not
included in this kit because
there are many different
materials used for a pad
construction.Torque: minimum12Nm.
3 Demount the cabinet roof
and fix straps to the eye-
bolts. Lock the cabinet door
so the door does not swing
during lifting.
Lift the cabinet via the
straps to the plinth. Balance
the cabinet to prevent it
from swinging.
NOTE! Do not lift the
cabinet with batteries
installed.
Warning! Do not stay
under the cabinet during
installation.

4 Remove the straps and
remount the roof.
Mount the cabinet to the
plinth with the two M8
bolts/lock washers.
Torque: 10Nm
5 On both sides of the plinth
there are 4 knock-outs for
cable entry. Put the 4
grommets into the preferred
side for cable entry.
6 Mount the plinth front
panel.
Torque: 7Nm.
