IR is minimally invasive, conscience sedation, usually can go home after procedure. Trauma for IR means embolization and treating tumors. Renal Trauma with blunt injury, pelvic and spleen most common Dr. Ledezma reviewed severity of grade, materials used for trauma injuries. Conservative treatment has increased over the years. Review/approval of minutes Motion made to approve minutes, motion seconded. Vote called. Minutes were approved as written. Roundtable discussion New members were introduced and welcomed into the group. Kelly Burns advised we will be using MTC website .They will be booking the room and keeping a centralized list of the registrars. We will be starting meeting at 10 am. Appointment of Stacey Lopez LPN Registrar Covenant Healthcare Vice President. Sue Levandoski, MTC Administrative Assistant to keep active MTC registrar list. Jody Vining to maintain contact list of all registrars regardless if member of MTC or not. STAC Deanne Krajkowski advised the committee reviewed applications. Changes are now going up to EMS-CC. There are 2 applications to look at still. Designated coordinator application on line April 1 st next meeting Informational Only Trauma Registrar Survey Sue Huehl went through the survey pages to answer any questions. The report is printable. One survey per facility will be sent, anticipate survey being sent out with the next 14 days and tentatively plan on discussing results at the May 2014 meeting. MTQIP Judy Mikahl present and reports she was in Chicago and the new Gold book should be out in 1-2 months. Mentioned Interventional Radiology need to be present in 30 mins. Criterion deficiency of a number 1 will be failure. Kelly also mentioned they are looking at a scaled down version for data collection

New Registrar Training Deanne Krajkowski reported education registrar course would be sponsored by MTC tentatively looking at October 6. Spoke to two consultant organizations. Joann Burington to let us know her input.

Other Business Items Kelly to look into HEMA sponsored CEU. AIS course not enough people yet need 25. ICD-10 course sign up reminder. Groups were organized based on their registry software.

Speakers for 2014 Medical examiner , Blood protocol presentation

Software Work Group Groups convened with other members that share the same software to discuss problems or concerns with their software and obtain registry specific advice.

No action required.
