Michail Akimovich Zyabochkin

Physical training teacher of Putyatino secondary school.

The main aim of the Olympic Games is to promote sport and healthy lifestyle

in the mass of population. And the most important promoters of this idea are school teachers. Our colleague is

one of them.

Michail Akimovich Zyabochkin was born on the 17th of September 1949 in a rural family in the village of Putyatino Ryazan region. As there were 10 children in the family his childhood was hard. The boy spent a lot of time in the street playing football. Small Misha had a dream to become a teacher of Physical Education.

After school he entered the vocational school and served in the army. Then he worked at the Ryazan oil- refining plant. In 1972 Michail married and after the birth of his daughter his family came back to Putyatino. Fortunately, there was a vacancy in the local school and he became a teacher of PE. So, his dream came true! Since then his work has become his destiny. Later he graduated from Pedagogical Institute in Ryazan.

He has been leading a healthy lifestyle for 63 years.

Michail Akimovich is an active participant of all district and regional competitions. A lot of his students have high grades in sport. But the most important thing is the fact that sport becomes an inseparable part of their lives.

Well-deserved rewards.He has been training children for about 40 years. He has a lot of regalia for his work: medals and numerous letters of commendation and appreciation from the local and regional authorities

Michail Akimovich leads a very active social life. Everybody knows him as an energetic, helpful and positive man with a charming smile. Our countrymen entitled him an honourable resident of Putyatino. Due to his popularity he becomes a deputy of District Duma.

Since 2009 he has been working as a managing director of the local sport school. He teaches his pupils not only to play football and volleyball but to be patriots of our Motherland.
