Michael Val Jeppson 1941 ~ 2012 Michael Val Jeppson, 71, passed away March 19, 2012 in Bluffdale, Utah. Born in Union, Utah to Ervin Fenton and LaRue Burgon Jeppson on March 29, 1941. Michael married Carol Rae Middleton on May 29, 1963 in the Salt Lake City Temple, she preceded him in death on September 17, 2006. He then married Carol Jean Jardine in the Jordan River Temple on May 12, 2007. Michael was a dedicated member of the LDS Church, serving in several positions in the Bluffdale/Riverton Stake, including Bishop, Stake President, Stake Patriarch, and especially enjoyed his last calling as an ordinance worker in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. Michael was the owner of a successful masonry company, Mike Jeppson and Associates, Inc. He did the masonry work on many LDS chapels throughout the Western States. Michael is survived by his wife, Carol Jean; children, Jason (TJ), Neil (Katie), Michelle (Ron) Smith, Nicole (Aaron) Halloway, Ryan (Jori), Wes (Summer), Kirt (Jen), Ginette, Brad (Amber); stepchildren, Nathan Jardine, Glade (Caroline) Jardine, John (Kelli) Jardine, Julie (Dennis) Tucker, Joe (Deanna) Jardine, Sarah (Evan) Christensen, Rachel (Stefano) DeMartin, Rebecca (Chris) Jewkes; siblings, Gayle

Michael Val Jeppson, 71, passed away March 19, 2012 in Bluffdale, Utah. Born in Union, Utah to Ervin Fenton and LaRue Burgon Jeppson on March 29, 1941. (Wendell) Duncan, Trent (Mildred), Arlene (Roy) Ashby, Dana Lindsey, Jane (Blaine) Astle, Susan (Tom) Burke, Delores (Boyd) Poulton; 70 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren who loved him dearly. Preceded in death by his eternal companion and first wife, Carol Rae; sister, Juanita (Ernest) Gourley; brother, Mark Jeppson; sister, Christine Jeppson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Bluffdale Stake Center, 14400 South 2700 West, where there will be a viewing Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and again Saturday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
