Michael Sieders Presents partners with some of Australia’s most dynamic and exciting theatre makers to bring unique stories to life for all ages.

We support independent artists to do what they do best, taking bold risks, telling intelligent, sophisticated and thought provoking work that delights

avid theatre-goers, as well as enticing new audiences into the theatre.

With a primary focus on theatre for children, we strive to create shows that will foster a love of story telling, the arts and the craft of theatre

making in a new generation. It is our goal to build initiatives around our productions that are inclusive and accessible for all children to enjoy the

theatre.

Our shows strive to be sophisticated and intelligent and encourage our younger audiences to unlock their imaginations and voices. To become

future story tellers and most importantly to keep them coming back to the theatre again and again and again...

Michael Sieders Presents acknowledges the traditional land and its owners and the contribution of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander

peoples of Australia past, present and future.

EXCLUSIVE100th Anniversary Production

By Norman Lindsay

A new adaptation commissioned byMichael Sieders Presents

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of this classic piece of Australian children’s literature being published, Michael Sieders Presents this all new exclusive production of Norman Lindsay’s

The Magic Pudding.

The Magic Pudding was first created in 1918, and thousands of children (and their parents) have been relishing it ever since. Norman Lindsay’s timeless classic follows the adventures of a

debonair young koala Bunyip Bluegum, sailor Bill Barnacle and penguin Sam Sawnoff - owners of the much-desired Magic Puddin’ Albert -

who try to out-wit Possum and Wombat, the professional, and extraordinarily persistent, puddin’-thieves.

This production will draw its inspiration from the original illustrations by Norman Lindsay and faithfully recreate this timeless tale for young

and old lovers of this truly Australian classic.

Ready for presentation in 2018 followed by an Australian National Tour.
