EduCase users can upload their IMRT cases and view them online with complete image sets and contoured structures. You can upload cases to create a rich teaching file for your residents. Your residents will be able to access the cases and practice contouring from both work and home. You can review the contours that your residents have saved and address any problems you find with their contouring methods. Use EduCase to learn contouring techniques. You can practice your own contouring while viewing a case, and compare your contours with the original contours that were used for treatment. There's no better way to learn contouring than straight from the experts themselves. You can save your contours and have them reviewed by a mentor or colleague. �

Category: eCommerce / Dashboard Login: [email protected] Password: spotrun Granted, I'm not advertising on radio, so I can't compare this solution with any others (although this space will likely be growing with Google's recent interest in radio advertising), but in using the application I like the fact that I can listen to my advertisement right in the application, without having to launch any other plugins, and I can easily view the data in chart form or list form. The raw data can also be downloaded and imported easily into Excel, for more powerful data analysis. The site takes data from Mediaguide, which monitors radio stations for music and advertising, and then displays that data in a meaningful way inside the Flex 2 rich Internet application. SeeSpotRun is priced on a 3 tier monthly subscription model, with a maximum number of ad detections per week, depending on your tier. The bronze package allows you up to 250 detections per week, and is priced at $99 / month, silver allows 1,500 detections per week at $299 and gold allows up to 5,000 detections per week for $799.�

Category: Financial Services / Stock quotes Flex + AJAX Google has also written a nice custom component that allows you to change the date range for the graph using a slider, located just below the graph. Even cooler - expanding the graph to show more data adds on more news items (shown as letters in the stock chart), and clicking on a letter not currently shown on the webpage scrolls the HTML news to that item - very nice. A Flex developer use the Flex Charting Components in combination with the Flex / Ajax bridge to do something similar. �

Category: Financial Services / Stock quotes Flex + AJAX Yahoo's integration with HTML comes from the left hand "Compare To:" menu item. Clicking on an item in that list will load the stock data into the Flash chart. What I like about the Yahoo implementation is that they'll also change the location in the URL bar for you, allowing you to easily copy and paste a URL so others can see the same view as you are. That allows you to do things like link to this graph showing Adobe's stock compared to Microsoft's over the past year. �

Its Fauxto, an online photo editor that was written with Flex and launched in November. The biggest difference between this product and others that I've seen is that this one incorporates the concept of layers, similar to what you'd find in more advanced programs, like Photoshop. According to their blog, the initial beta release includes features such as adjusting the canvas and image size, adjusting layers, adding filters and more.�

Category: eCommerce/ Location based services Yahoo! Maps Beta provides similar functionality to Google Maps, but was built with Flex rather than Ajax technologies. Application developed by Adobe Consulting. Yahoo Maps solves some of the problems that some people still believe exist with Flash applications. The URL bar updates everytime the map changes, so you can easily copy and paste the URL into an email message and send it to a friend, who will see the same thing that you did. The layout is similar to what you'd find in any up to date mapping application these days. You can input addresses on the left hand side, and locations and directions will appear on the map itself. I like the ability to drag and drop and re-arrange addresses in the left hand side, in case I decide I want to change my route. Yahoo has recently added links at the bottom of the map to allow you to map certain businesses. When I checked it out, it showed links for Budget, Goodyear tire dealers, Holiday Inn and Fairfield Inn. �

Category: eCommerce/ Guided selling Home Locator is an intuitive real estate searching application. It lets users search by area by clicking on a US map and then filter the results by price, number of bedrooms, bathrooms and other relevant criteria. For each property, detailed information is shown and actual location is plotted on a map, all in one screen. Users can see pictures for a property, helping them determine whether or not they want to visit the property. They can also save properties as favorites to be reviewed at a later time and can let other people see their favorite list. As a bonus, it also includes an administration to edit properties. �

Category: eCommerce/ Product Configurator – guided selling When you first launch the application, you're taken to a screen with all the bikes at the bottom, in a horizontal scroll control. Clicking on any of the bikes will bring up the view you see above: you can now choose which item on the bike you want to customize. Selecting and installing a customized option is easy. Click on it, then click on "Install on bike", and you're done. (Removing items is just as easy, click on "Remove from bike instead). The image of the bike refreshes with your option attached (very cool!). Items on the right hand side provide additional information, like how much the accessory costs, what else it requires, and a nice little upsell portion: "Goes well with". �
