Mexico is the leading Latin American buyer of German goods, and is moreover a reliable ally on key trade and climate
policy issues. Closer cooperation between the EU and Mexico promises great business potential.
The Mexican-German Business Summit brings together high-level decision-makers from government and business to
discuss the prospects for bilateral economic cooperation as well as to introduce new, innovative projects and strengthen
collaboration at the entrepreneurial level.
BDI and HANNOVER MESSE have been staging the Business Summit as a central forum since 2005, with the goal of
promoting economic ties between Germany and the respective HANNOVER MESSE Partner Country.
