Fire degradationproducts

Oxides of nitrogen. Ammonia. Hydrogen fluoride.

Fire extinguishing Use extinguishing media suitable for surrounding materials. Wear adequate personal protection to prevent contact withprocedures material or its combustion products. Self contained breathing apparatus with a full facepiece operated in a pressure

demand or other positive pressure mode. Cool containing vessels with flooding quantities of water.

Fire and ExplosionHazards

The sensitivity to static discharge is not available. The sensitivity to impact is not available. Emits toxic fumes under fireconditions.

Section V. Toxicological PropertiesRoutes of entry Inhalation and ingestion. Eye contact. Skin contact. Skin absorption.

Effects of Acute Corrosive. Acute effects may be delayed. Necrosis.Exposure Target organs: eyes, skin, respiratory system, central nervous system, liver, kidney, bones, heart.

Eye Causes bums and loss of vision. May cause permanent damage.

Skin Causes bums. Causes burns which may be delayed. Readily absorbed through skin.

Inhalation Toxic. Material is destructive to tissue of the mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract. Symptoms of exposuremay include burning sensation, coughing, laryngitis, dyspnea, headache, nausea, and vomiting. May cause delayed lunginjury. See ingestion.

Ingestion Toxic. Bums in mouth, pharynx and gastrointestinal tract. Headache, nausea, vomiting, salivation, diarrhea, muscleweakness, abdominal pain, convulsions, collapse, nephritis and death possible. Can cause brain and kidney damage.Estimated lethal dose is 1-4 g (AMMONIUM BIFLUORIDE). See chronic effects.

Section V. Toxicological Properties REACTIVATION SOLUTION FOR REGEN page 3/4

Effects of Chronic Fluorosis: fragile bones, stiffness of the joints, osteofluorosis, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, dyspnea, salivation,Overexposure abdominal pain, fever, anemia, nettle rash, respiratory impairment, liver, bone, skin, tooth and kidney damage. Fluoride ion

can reduce serum calcium levels possibly causing fatal hypocalcemia. Prolonged exposure to fluoride dust, vapors or mistsresults in perforation of the nasal septum. Chronic effects include excessive calcification of the bones (including ribs, pelvis, and spinal column), ligaments and tendons. Repeated or prolonged exposure to the substance can produce target organsdamage. Carcinogenic effects: Not available. Mutagenic effects: Not available. Teratogenic effects: Not available. Toxicityof the product to the reproductive system: Not available. To the best of our knowledge, the chemical, physical, and toxicity ofthis substance has not been fully investigated.

Section VI. First Aid MeasuresEye contact Immediate first aid is needed to prevent eye damage. Washing within 1 minute is essential to achieve maximum

effectiveness. IMMEDIATELY flush eyes with copious quantities of water for at least 30 minutes holding lids apart toensure flushing of the entire surface. Seek immediate medical attention.

Skin contact Immediate first aid is needed to prevent skin damage. Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minuteswhile removing contaminated clothing and shoes. After washing, bathe with a solution of calcium gluconate or apply acompress. Seek immediate medical attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reusing. Discard contaminatedleather articles such as shoes and belt.

Inhalation Remove patient to fresh air. Administer approved oxygen supply if breathing is difficult. Administer artificial respiration orCPR if breathing has ceased. Obtain medical attention immediately.

Ingcstion If conscious, wash out mouth with water. Give magnesia (one tablespoon in a glass of water) or a solution of calciumgluconate. Obtain medical attention immediately. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing person.

Section VII. Reactivity DataStability Stable. Conditions to avoid: High temperatures, sparks, open flames and all other sources of ignition, contamination.

Hazardous decomp.products

Not available.

Incompatibility Oxidizing agents, acids, bases, alkalies, metals, glass, quartz, chlorine trifluoride, silicon materials, organic bases, sodium nitrite, potassium chlorate, potassium, cement

Reaction Products Contact with bases causes liberation of ammonia; with acids HF. This product corrodes glass, cement, and metals.Hazardous polymerization will not occur.

Section VIII. Preventive Measures REACTIVATION SOLUTION FOR REGEN page 4/4

Protective Clothing in yVear respiratory protection, protective mask, rubber boots and heavy rubber gloves.case of spill and leak

Spill and leak Sweep up and place in container for disposal. Ventilate area and wash spill site after material pick up is complete.NOT empty into drains. DO NOT touch damaged container or spilled material.

DO

Waste disposal Neutralize with slaked lime to form insoluble calcium fluoride (be cautious, ammonia will be evolved). According to allapplicable regulations. Harmful to aquatic life at low concentrations. Can be dangerous if allowed to enter drinking waterintakes. Do not contaminate domestic or irrigation water supplies, lakes, streams, ponds, or rivers.

Storage and Handling Store in a cool place away from heated areas, sparks, and flame. Store in a well ventilated area. Store away fromincompatible materials. Do not add any other material to the container. Do not wash down the drain. Keep away from directsunlight or strong incandescent light. Keep container tightly closed and dry. May corrode metallic surfaces and glass.Empty containers may contain a hazardous residue. Handle and open container with care. Take off immediately allcontaminated clothing. Protect exposed skin with a suitable cream. This product must be manipulated by qualifiedpersonnel. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Wash well after use. In accordance with good storage and handlingpractices. Do not allow smoking and food consumption while handling. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seekmedical advice immediately (show the label when possible.). Do not store in metal or glass containers.

Section IX. Protective MeasuresProtective clothing Face shield and splash goggles. Impervious rubber or plastic gloves, apron, coveralls, and/or other resistant protective clothing. Sufficient to

protect skin. A OSHA/MSHA jointly approved respirator is advised in the absence of proper environmental controls. If more than TLV, do notbreathe vapor. Do not wear contact lenses. Make eye bath and emergency shower available. Ensure that eyewash station and safety showeris proximal to the work-station location.

Engineering controls Use in a chemical fume hood to keep airborne levels below recommended exposure limits. Do not use in unventilatedspaces. Ventilation should be corrosion proof.

Section X. Other InformationSpecial Precautions or Corrosive! Toxic! Causes severe burns which may be delayed! Corrosive effects on the skincomments and eyes may be delayed, and damage may occur without the sensation or onset of pain. Strict

adherence to first aid measures following any exposure is essential. Risk of serious damage toeyes. Avoid all contact with the product. Avoid prolonged or repeated exposure. Handle andopen container with care. Container should be opened only by a technically qualified person.NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: The toxicity of this material is due primarily to the poisonous nature ofhydrogen fluoride. Treat as per accident involving hydrofluoric acid.RTECS NO: BQ9200000 (Ammonium bifluoride).RTECS NO: V24725000 (Sodium chloride).
