1.1 Review of the MVRD Board's Potable Water Policy for Electoral Area A Report dated April 15, 12017 from Marcin Pachcinski, Electoral Area and Environment Division Manager, Parks, Planning and Environmentproviding the MVRD Board with the opportunity to consider a review of the current Potable Water Policy for Electoral Area A, last amended in 1999.

2.1 2017 Update on Regional District Sustainability Innovation Fund Projects Report dated April 24, 2017 from Roger Quan, Air Quality and Climate Change Director, Parks, Planning and Environment, providing an update on seven projects funded under the Regional District Sustainability Innovation Funds.

Recommendation: That the MVRD Board receive for information the report dated April 24, 2017, titled "2017 Update on Regional District Sustainability Innovation Fund Projects".

2.2 Update on Metro Vancouver's Grow Green Website and the "Growing Green in Metro Vancouver'' Forum Report dated April 10, 2017 from Marcin Pachcinski, Electoral Area, Planning Analytics, and Environment Division Manager, and Josephine Clark, Regional Planner, Parks, Planning and Environment, providing a description of updates to Metro Vancouver's Grow Green website (www.growgreenguide.ca), and providing a summary of the "Growing Green in Metro Vancouver" Forum held in collaboration with UBC Botanical Garden on March 4, 2017.

Recommendation: That the MVRD Board receive for information the report dated April 10, 2017, titled "Update on Metro Vancouver's Grow Green Website and the "Growing Green in Metro Vancouver" Forum."

2.3 Smart Drive Challenge Results and Next Steps Report dated April 18, 2017 from Eve Hou, Air Quality Planner, and Conor Reynolds, Senior Project Engineer, Parks, Planning and Environment, informing of the results of the Smart Drive Challenge, a Sustainability Innovation Fund project initiated in 2015, and outlining a path forward.

Recommendation: That the MVRD Board receive for information the report titled "Smart Drive Challenge Results and Next Steps", dated April 18, 2017.

2.4 City of Richmond: Building Energy Benchmarking Policy Report dated May 4, 2017 from the Climate Action Committee, together with correspondence dated April 11, 2017, seeking MVRD Board endorsement of part 1

of the City of Richmond's resolution regarding the development of policy on building energy benchmarking, data being available to local governments, and requesting that the Board write a letter to the Lower Mainland Local Government Association and the Union of BC Municipalities communicating the Board's endorsement.

Recommendation: That the MVRD Board: a) endorse the following City of Richmond resolution, as presented in the

correspondence dated April 11, 2017, titled "Building Energy Benchmarking Policy": "that the province be requested to develop a requirement that buildings above a certain size threshold benchmark their energy performance and report this information to the province annually, and that the resulting data be available to local governments to inform their climate policy and programs"; and

b) write a letter to the Lower Mainland Local Government Association and the Union of BC Municipalities, communicating the Board's endorsement.

3.1 Quarterly Report on Reconciliation Activities Report dated May 10, 2017 from Marino Piombini, Supervisor, Aboriginal Relations, Legal and Legislative Services, providing a quarterly report on reconciliation activities.

Recommendation: That the MVRD Board receive for information the report, dated May 10, 2017, titled "Quarterly Report on Reconciliation Activities."

4.1 2017 Love Food Hate Waste Campaign Update Report dated May 10, 2017 from Larina Lopez, Division Manager, Corporate Communications, External Relations, providing an update on the Love Food Hate Waste Campaign; a behaviour change campaign to reduce household food waste.

Recommendation: That the MVRD Board receive for information the report dated May 10, 2017, titled "2017 Love Food Hate Waste Campaign Update."

5.1 MVRD Board Strategic Planning Workshop Update Report dated May 8, 2017 from Carol Mason, Commissioner/Chief Administrative Officer, and Phil Trotzuk, Chief Financial Officer/General Manager, Financial Services, reporting back to the MVRD Board on the information and feedback received by staff at the Board Strategic Planning Workshop on February 24-25, 2017, and articulating next steps.

5.2 2016 Statement of Financial Information Report dated April 28, 2017 from Phil Trotzuk, Chief Financial Officer/General Manager, Financial Services, seeking MVRD Board approval of the 2016 Statement of Financial Information (SOFI) as part of the reporting requirements of the Financial Information Act.

On-table replacement Schedule 5, page 1 of 19 and page 18 of 19 both titled "Schedule of Payments to Suppliers for Goods and Services for the year ended December 31, 2016", were distributed to members and are retained with the May 26, 2017 MVRD Board agenda.

Recommendation: That the MVRD Board approve the Statement of Financial Information for the year ended December 31, 2016.

May 5, 2017; e) Pacific Parklands Foundation Update for the Period November 1, 2016 to

Recommendation: That the MVRD Board receive for information the report, dated May 4, 2017, titled "Delegations Received at Committee May 2017" containing submissions received from the following delegates: a) Dave Schick, Manager, Policy, Government and Public Affairs, Chevron

Burnaby Refinery. Adopted on Consent

6.3 2017 Agriculture Awareness Grant Recommendations Report dated April 10, 2017 from Heather McNell, Regional Planning and Electoral Area Services Acting Director, and Theresa Duynstee, Regional Planner, Parks, Planning, and Environment, seeking MVRD Board approval to allocate $40,000 in grants for agriculture awareness activities in 2017, as recommended by the Agricultural Advisory Committee.

Recommendation: That the MVRD Board approve the allocation of the 2017 Agriculture Awareness Grants to the following thirteen non-profit organizations as described in the report dated April 10, 2017, titled "2017 Agriculture Awareness Grant Recommendations": 1. BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation, for the "Take a Bite of BC"

project in the amount of $6,000; 2. BC Association of Farmers' Markets, for "Farmer and Farmers' Market

Appreciation Campaign" project in the amount of $4,000; 3. BC Chicken Growers Association, for the "Poultry in Motion Educational Mini
