RESPONSIBILITIES
1) All work will be undertaken by qualified competent persons with experience of the type of work described above, and in all cases in full accordance with safety procedures specified.
2) It is the responsibility of the supervisor to ensure prior to giving any personnel the job of Painting that they are fully aware of the hazards involved and are competent to carry out the work safely.
3) The supervisor must ensure that this procedure is fully complied with.

METHOD STATEMENT
Sequence of Operations:(Specifying methods of working, tools, materials and equipment utilised)
1) Ensure the surface is free from any grease and dust prior to application of
painting.
2) Paint/ Primer to properly mixed in a steel pail separately.
3) Apply the primer by means of paint roller/ brush to as many as coat to
achieve the thickness.
4) Allow the painted surface to fully cue as per the painting procedure and
project specification.
5) Carry out the second coat and final coat painting as per approved project
specification.
6) After the completion of Final Inspection remove ladders and scaffolds for the
work area.
7) Remove all the debris and garnet spillage from the work spot
8) All the tools from the work area to be removed and area to be thoroughly
clean the area.
9) For Mixing ratio and dry time refer Data Sheet.
