finishing to the highest levelYour summerhouse, veranda or pro-system pre-treated and paintedIf you choose this option then we will treat the entire inside & outside

(and also the parts that are unreachable after assembly) with a colourless

base. After this treatment we will paint the entire outside walls of your

summerhouse in the colour chosen by you.

The walls under the canopy will be painted on the outside as well. The

inside will be treated with the colourless base. If you want to paint this

with the same colour then you can order the paint together with your

summerhouse.

With this treatment your summerhouse is protected for 2 to 3 years.

Optimal result and a perfect finish can be achieved by sanding it lightly

and treat it with 1 more layer after assembly. If this is done then your

summerhouse is protected for 4 to 5 years. If you are planning to do this

then please do not forget to order the additional paint together with your

building.

Windows and doors are painted with 3 layers by us.

Your summerhouse will be treated with Remmers products. Remmers

products are the perfect protection against UV radiation, water, fungi

and contain an anti-fouling protection as well. Products are water-based

and therefore are an environmentally conscious choice.

You have a choice of 3 colours:

Windows and doors 1 colour

Walls and/or fascias 1 colour

Posts and/or fascias 1 colour

* Please note: When choosing opaque white paint it can happen that

brown/yellow stains are visible (resin from knots). This is possible, despite

the use of a treatment agent and paint. This cannot be prevented and is

therefore no reason for a reclamation.

SPRAY TREATMENT

Your summerhouse, log cabin or veranda (spray) treated.

If you choose a factory treatment for your summerhouse,

then your summerhouse is protected against fungi and rotting

processes. You will still need to paint your summerhouse

within 1 year. Painting gives it the additional protection it

needs against weather influences such as rain and sunshine.

Main advantages of spray treatment:

• The entire building is treated including all the parts

that are unreachable after installation.

• Your summerhouse is already pre-treated with a

base coat

• Your summerhouse is instantly protected against

fungi and rotting processes after assembly.

• The inside of your summerhouse is protected and

does not need to be treated again in the future.

You have a choice between 4 colours. You may also

choose between more then 1 colour per house.

So in total you may choose 3 colours.

With pressure treatment, the impregnating fluid is forced into

the wood. This process takes place in a vacuum chamber.

Firstly, a vacuum is created and then it is filled with an

impregnating agent. The impregnated wood becomes

swollen, it is therefore necessary to allow a longer delivery

time to allow for drying.

When a log cabin is pressure treated there is no need for

additional treatment. It is possible however to paint the cabin

afterwards.

Please note if you have to cut any wood on site or if there

are any nicks/dents in the wood then it is important to apply

a further “touch up” preservative treatment to these parts.

Pressure treatment is only possible with the Log cabin

or Pro system.

* Windows and doors cannot be pressure treated. These you

can order painted or spray impregnated.

With all summerhouses, log cabins and verandas you can

order glass sliding walls. These glass sliding walls are

delivered with a high quality railing system with 10 mm

toughened glass. The glass sliding walls all run to one side

so that you can enjoy your view and the nice weather to

the max. When the weather is bad then you easily close the

glass sliding walls and enjoy outdoor life all year round.

roof and floor insulationWith all our products you can order roof and/or floor insulation. This is

a high quality insulation of 4 cm thick. The insulation is delivered

together with all fixings. Roof insulation is assembled on top of the roof

timber (below the shingles or EPDM). With flat roofs you also have the

option to assemble the roof insulation on the inside. In that case you

need to order a ceiling to finish off the inside of the roof.

The Pro-system is also very suitable to fully insulate. Windows and doors

are fitted with double glazing and you can order roof- and floor insulation.

the option to insulate the walls. This system is delivered with pressure

treated beams which are fitted to the outside walls. These beams have

slots that make sure that outside walls can move independently from the

inside walls. We also deliver special clips, breathing membrane foil and

an inside wall of 19 mm thick wall boards.
