Structural Steel PipeUses for structural steel pipe include sign poles, billboards, bollards, pilings, caissons, scoreboards, water handling, pipe struts, false work, and more. It’s available in various sizes and grades allowing for a broad range of applications.

Tri-Loc Weldless Interlock SystemCombining our state of art spiralweld pipe mill & our A.I.S.C. certified fabrication facilities, our Tri-Loc weldless interlock system creates a cost effective method for pipe installation while also improving job site efficiencies.

Our Products

ScoreboardsScoreboards require custom fabrication due to the unique nature of their internal construction. Generally fast tracked projects, these structures typically consist of a series of uprights spanning the width of the sign face. The uprights are fabricated from steel pipe or wide flanged beams with a series of catwalks between them providing access to the rear of the sign panel.

Omega BeamA new structural section developed from fundamental engineering principles. The omega beam is an economical, versatile, twist resistant wide platform that is strong in both directions. Applications include bridges, trestles, docks, wide platform shoring, structural conduitsand aqueducts.

Sign Poles & Sign SupportsSign Poles can vary in overall height and pipe dimensions ranging from simple one stage sign structures to complex multiple stage sign structures. Trinity Products provides full-service project needs such as: detailed shop drawings, pipe manufacturing, A.I.S.C. certified fabrication, and custom coatings.

Our Products

Sheet PileCold Roll Sheet PileCold Forming is one method of producing sheet pile. These cold formed sheets are usually less expensive for a project by having a wider laying width, less costly method of manufacturing, higher strength to weight ratios and being a time saver with a reduced delivery time from order placement to jobsite.

Hot Roll Sheet PileOne of the two primary methods of manufacturing sheet piling. It differs mainly from the other by the hot rolling of the interlock which can typically be of the domestic “Ball and Socket” or the import “Larssen” type. This creates an interlock that tends to allow less free motion thus improving its performance in difficult driving conditions and where water flow must be restricted.

ConnectorsTypically less expensive than fabricated corners which can take some time to produce (welded) and are usually available from stock with 24 hour delivery. Specially designed connectors provide easy layouts for corners, “Tees”, combination angle joints as well as convenient splice joints when changing interlock design differences.

I - BeamsW (Wide Flange)

The most commonly mentioned I-beam shape for structural applications. The web of the wide flange beam is design to resist shear forces, while the flanges resist most of the bending moment. Wide flange sections are a very efficient form for carrying both bending and shear loads in the plane of the web.

HP (H-Pile)

Manufactured and designed to transfer structural loads to good bearing soils. They are dimensionally square structural beams that are driven in the ground for deep foundation applications. H-Piles are also used in conjunction with sheet piles to add lateral stiffness and bending resistance where loads exceed the capacity of sheet piles alone.

Gilboa Dam - Gilboa, NY

Coils are received by rail or truck. Ranging in weights from 15 tons to 40 tons, coils are assigned an internal ID number and stored for an upcoming job. The operators will prep the coil for the machine once it is selected for a specific job.

Once the coil is inserted into the machine, it advances with the first set of drive rollers through the five roll flattening stage to prepare the coil for edge milling and forming.

The flattening system ensures there are no irregularities in the pipe after forming.

The coils get joined at the skelp station by a submerged arc welding process that allows continuous length of pipe to be made.

After skelp station the edges are milled for consistent width and weld prep.

The forming station is a helical 3 roll bending theory with a 200 ton press used to form coils with a thicknesses of up to 1”. This particular station can form coil into pipe up to 10’ 7” diameters

The main drive is what primarily pushes/pulls the coil strip through every process on the mill.

Pipe Manufacturing Process

Weld groove center alignment is ensured by an automated laser tracking system.

This and proper weld current provide us 100% full penetration welds with a low profile of less than 1/16th of an inch.

We can apply ultrasonic testing to 100% of our welds with our inline ultrasonic testing machine. We can then mark any defects to inspect and repair after the pipe gets cut to length and moved off the mill.

Our ultrasonic testing machine uses 4 transducers to scope every facet of the weld ID and OD.

We have 3 pipe repair stations where we complete welds due to machine stop/starts and also complete the skelp weld on the outside of the pipe and make any other repairs identified by UT and visual inspection.

Our mill and payout system is capable handling pipe lengths up to 150’.

Trinity has a plethora of machines that enable us to ship and handle up to 127” diameter, 184’ long and up to 100,000 pounds.

We provide our customers quality product on time so there is no delay on the jobsite.
