What we do

We supply and install all types of unpainted and prepainted long run metal roofing profiles and membranesto both residential properties and commercial buildings. From corrugated and Eurostyle to butynol, EPDM and TPO membrane products. We are licensed to remove and dispose of asbestos and we own our own access lifts, fall edge protection, mobile scaffold towers, hiab truck and trailers. We strive to make your roofing project as hassle and stress free as possible having our own builders and trades available wherever necessary.

Our customers

We average over 100 private residential house re-roofs a year not including new house builds andCommercial buildings. We are the preferred installer for numerous builders both large and small, domestic and commercial. We work closely with Ministry of Education and with a number of architects and designers both in the office and out on site.

Where are we:

We are based on the North Shore of Auckland but we service all of the greater Auckland region and travel from Tauranga to Kerikeri when needed. We can reach out to the outer islands of the Hauraki Gulf by arrangement having recently completed jobs on Waiheke and Kawau island.

Company history

Metro has been up and running since 2004. Owned and operated by Rob who has worked both handson and in management. With over 25 years experience in the roofing industry he has a thoroughunderstanding of all aspects and he currently manages Metro and oversees all our teams.

Organisations

We are members of Roofing Association of New Zealand (RANZ), Site Safe NZ and Hazard Co. We are LBP holders and have council authority numbers for producer statements where required. All our roofers are certified installers or are currently undergoing roofing apprenticeships through “The Skills Organisation”.
