We Deserve a Better Tomorrow
Messenger of Peace ―Messenger of Peace‖ is a kind of project or campaign that had been recognised by His Highness of the King of Saudi Arabia, King Abdullah and the King of Sweden - King Carl Gustaf1. Both of His Highness believe that movement of Scouts around the world was so impressive and they should be recognised for its contribution to world peace and be supported to do even more. Thus, Scouts are the better candidate to act as ―Messenger of Peace‖. Meanwhile, World Scouting‘s Messenger of Peace had been launched by the World Scout Committee in 2011.
• What is Messenger of Peace and what is the true intention behind it? Messengers of Peace had been initiated by the World Scout Committee with the aim to promote and recognise those service projects that contribute to world peace2. The main objective of Messengers of Peace is to inspire millions of young men and women throughout the world to work closer toward achieving peace. Using state-of-the-art social media, the initiative lets Scouts from around the world share what they‘ve done and in directly this would inspire fellow Scouts to undertake similar efforts in their own communities. The result will be a mosaic of stories, data, and results showing the impact of the Scout movement—a tool for recruiting members, assuring parents, inspiring donors, and making existing members proud to be Scouts. Recently, the Scout Association of Malaysia had started to take part in this Messenger of Peace Project3. In order to support the Scout Association of Malaysia towards the project, the rover scouts A from Sibu, Sarawak had contributed their effort in making this project being successful in their local communities. All of them possess the same intention as they hope this project will be successful and indirectly inspire the others scout members to contribute themselves into this project.

The Complement of the Recycle Bin On the date of 14th March 2016, all the rover scouts had presented themselves at the Sibu Scout Headquarter in order to build up a recycle bin as scheduled. The recycle bin was made up of those plywood which some of them were being bought from the local hardware store while some of the them were being given by the local developing contractor due to those plywood were no longer being used for the construction purpose. In order to build up a recycle bin and locate it at the Sibu Scout Headquarter, it is very time consuming. Without any wasting of time, the rover scouts had started to work together as a team whereby some of them measured the size of the recycle bin that would fitted the designed area where the recycle would be placed, while the rest were busy with the cleaning. After fews hours, the recycle bin was completed and painted with the paint in order to protect the wood from further corrosion. After the paint was dried, the recycle was then moved to the designated place for the purpose of collecting the recyclable substances. The photo of the work done and the photo of the recycle bin had been annexed herewith
Days Where the Recycle Start to Play its Role
On the date of 15th March, the recycle bin had started to collect those old newspaper and the plastic bottle. There are two compartment within the recycle bin whereas one side was designed for the newspaper collecting purpose while the other one was for the plastic bottle collecting purpose. The recycle bin did played its role successfully as the quantity of the newspaper and the plastic bottle is increasing per day. The photo of the recycle bin with the recycle items is shown below
