They then went on to win against Clayton in Sectionals . P ICTURE OF THE M ONTH Greetings Alumni, I hope this message finds you well and ready for the summer months. I look forward to seeing many of you this Sunday for our annual Alumni Mass and Breakfast. Mass is at 9am in the St. Joseph Chapel and breakfast is immediately following. Please RSVP with Jason Vilmer at [email protected] or (314) 481-8400 if you wish to attend. We need 100 more Alumni to become members of the alumni association to reach our goal of 500 members for the fourth straight year! Not sure where the missing 100 members went, but please sign up and keep the largest High School Alumni Association in St. Louis alive and strong. You can easily sign up for $30 at www.smhsaa.com . Please visit to be- come a member today. All memberships are good until December 31st. I challenge those missing 100 members to sign up by June 30 th . We need your support now more than ever! St. Mary’s Alum Tony Puricelli ‘10 was recently chosen as a 2013 Dow Jones Summer Intern. He was one of two Missouri School of Journalism students to be cho-sen and will be working at the Kansas City Star as a copy editor. Tony was a National Merit Final-ist and Valedictorian of his class. Click here to read the full story.

On a sunny morning May 18th, 41 boats set sail at the Lake of the Ozarks to catch “the big one.” After the weigh-in, all the fishermen were treated to a gourmet BBQ by Ken Buechter, Mark Hacker and Ken’s brother Darnell. This was the BUDDY BASS FISHIING TOURNAMENT’s 10th year (see T-shirt at right). Special thanks to Red Oak Resort (Jerry Reinhold ‘74) for their hospitality and to the tournament organizers for all 10 years-Mike Lowe ‘73, Dave Weindel ’68 and Chris Lowe ’83. We hope to see you May 17th, 2014.
