MESSAGE FROM THE DISTRICT GOVERNORMy Dear Family of Rotary,

Warm Greetings!

As the Rotary Year 2017-18 nears completion, it is time to reflect on the work done through the year and to prepare for another fruitful Rotary year.

Looking back, my vision statement for the year focussed on supporting and strengthening clubs by way of following the mantra of 3Ts – Time management, Transparency & Technology.

Reflecting on the work done by the Rotarians of our District, under the leadership of the Trendsetter Presidents, I feel proud to say that all Presidents supported and followed the mantra of 3Ts to the hilt. The impact of their work in communities around the District is for every one to see. Rotarians are Making a Difference by immunizing children, ensuring a safe blood supply, organizing cancer awareness and detection camps, helping improve the sanitation conditions in government schools and most important of all, they have understood the importance of questioning the age old practices adopted by their clubs.

Your contributions to the Rotary Foundation have been very heartening and as I write this message, we are still awaiting the final count.

As Ritu and I step down, we take back fond memories of the friends we’ve made, the service projects we’ve been a part of and the places we have visited.

Thank you all for your unconditional support and continue to Make a Difference in the society and around the world.
