Mandatory Cooper fitness testing performed twice a year for all members

Personalized goals are established for any firefighter under the 60 percentile level

David Gardner drove a pink fire truck around the mid-west for 18 days during the Pink Heals Tour, raising funds for women with cancer

Joe Chizmar was the Department liaison for Muscular Dystrophy raising $6,055

Ben Petry and Mitch Livingston assisted Merriam Pd, Shawnee PD & FD in the Polar Bear Plunge raising funds for Special Olympics

T-61 (2004 E-One Ladder truck) went back to Ocala Florida and got a new ladder ($20,000 upgrade)

E-61 (2001 Pumper) was out of service on numerous occasions (Over $9,000 in repairs)

HGAC – Houston Galveston Area Council (Helping Governments Across the Country) utilized to procure a new Pierce pumper (will be purchased in 2011)
