Meridian Point

Meridian point is about time. Time to work, time to play and time to relax.

Meridian Point is in an area whose time has come. The border between Greenwich and Deptford is being revitalised. The industrial waterfront is being rebuilt to create a vibrant new zone for living and socialising next to the river.

The process has already started with the development of the area round Deptford Creek, including the acclaimed Laban Dance Centre designed by the architects of the Tate Modern. A cruise liner terminal is planned, and an old paper wharf upstream is due to be transformed into a brilliant new urban zone planned by Richard Rogers Architects.

Meridian Point offers 24 superlative triplex and duplex apartments with roof terraces in a stylish new building of the highest quality.

The apartments are laid out for the luxury living, with glass doors opening onto spacious balconies - great areas for entertaining and relaxation. Designer light fittings, high specification doors and wood floors create contemporary ambience.

The AreaThe Greenwich/Deptford area is one of the most vibrant and dynamic locations in London, with a huge choice of restaurants, bars and venues.

Its cultural heart is the world-famous riverside complex of buildings comprising the Royal Naval Hospital (now Greenwich University), the Queen’s House and the Old Royal Observatory.

The arrival of the University and the Trinity School of Music has brought new life to the area, with regular concerts and art exhibitions.

The newly-restored Queen’s House is the centrepiece of the National Maritime Museum, which also covers the Observatory with the strip of brass marking where East and West meet at the Prime Meridian of the World.

The Royal Park and the riverside offer great walks. Deptford has a cutting-edge cultural life, with the much-admired Laban Dance Centre designed by the architects of the Tate Modern, and Goldsmiths College .

Greenwich has a range of boutiques and specialist shops, plus a crafts market on Saturdays. For bargains, Deptford Market is unrivalled. For mainstream stores, Surrey Quays mall and Lewisham are short bus rides away.

The LocationNearby Greenwich and Deptford stations are convenient for the City, with frequent trains to Cannon Street and Charing Cross in the rush hour, and for Canary Wharf on the Docklands Light Railway.

Cyclists have an easy, level and attractive ride into central London on the Riverside Path, and can also reach Canary Wharf quickly through the Greenwich foot tunnel.

And commuters have the unusual alternative of river boat transport from Greenwich Pier.

London City Airport is a short ride by DLR, with flights to destinations round the UK and Europe.

Road links are good with the A2 and A20 giving rapid access to the M25 and the motorway network.
