• President Underwood has led Mercer during a period of dynamic growth and development for the University.

Jim Cole

•  A native of Augusta, GA Cole lettered in baseball at Mercer University from 1990 to 1993.

• Cole was drafted as a pitcher by the Milwaukee Brewers in 1993.

• He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.

• Under Gov. Sonny Perdue he served in the Georgia Legislature and was the Governor's floor leader.

• Cole is an active community leader throughout the state of Georgia.
