Mercedes-Benz Santa Barbara Introduces the 2014 E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet

Mercedes-Benz introduces the 2014 E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet available this winter,

featuring refined styling, increased luxury comfort, and improved sport performance.

Mercedes-Benz Santa Barbara takes a look at the soon-to-arrive 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-

Class Coupe and Cabriolet. Both models will feature aggressive exterior styling, a

reimagined interior, and a suite of pioneering safety features to help the two-door side of

the E-Class family flex its already formidable muscles.

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet deliver the elegance and power of the

E-Class in a sporty and adventurous design. For 2014, key features and updates

encompass all parts of the vehicle for an all-around improved luxury driving experience.

Exterior Updates

The exterior of the 2014 E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet shows off stylish new updates.

The exterior is defined with new sharper lines and a wider stance to evoke a stronger

feeling of power and resilience. New LED headlamps with integrated LED Daytime

running lamps and new LED tail lamps increase visibility and add a touch of sparkle to

the exterior.

Interior Updates

The interior design features an updated dashboard and gauges including a new three-tube

instrument cluster and analog clock finely crafted into the dashboard. The cabin includes

the latest in meticulous design, comfort, and technology. Plus, new upholstery colors and

combinations will be available exclusively for the 2014 models.

Increased Performance

The 2014 E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet will continue to house either the advanced Direct

Injection V-6 engine or the twin-turbo V8. These are paired with the advanced 7-speed

automatic transmission with paddle shifters for an exhilaratingly smooth ride. Add to this

the sophisticated Agility Control® and sport tuned Dynamic Handling Suspensions, and

you have a car that responds with precision to the driver’s every wish.

The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet will also be available with

optional 4MATIC® all-wheel-drive technology to tackle any driving conditions and the

next-generation ATTENTION ASSIST® driver drowsiness monitoring system. Added

protection is built in for rear-end collisions and an optional Driver Assistance Package

features DISTRONIC PLUS® adaptive cruise control with Steering Assist. The models

will also be available with the latest in driver assistance technology from Mercedes-Benz

featuring PRE-SAFE® Brake, and Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist,

and Active Parking Assist and PARKTRONIC.
