1) how do you take sounding of a scavenge air box drain tank? what action should be taked before opening the tank sounding pipe cap? what will happen if not followed ? why? what to do if consequenses occur?

2) how do you burn suldge in an incenerator? how cna you change the settings? what action should be taken on even of flame failure alarm? what if you notice that temperature is slowly rising before sludge can start burning? how will you burn more sludge than possible?3) what will cause expansion tank or cascade tank to over flow? what action should be taken? what will you do if too much oveflowing?

4) how will you mop engine room floor? what is the method used for moping oily floor? which chemical to use? what kind of a mop do you feel is best to be used?

and last but not the least...5) describe the sludge pump and bilge pump filter cleaning procedure of your ship? what all to be done befre taking out silter? how will you paint a bulkhead?
