Native to Africa, baobab trees are commonly known as the Tree of Life. Some of them can live a thousand years or more. Drawing inspiration from our majestic African heritage, join us on this bespoke journey for a revitalising boost enhancing your physical and emotional wellbeing. To start, a TheraNakaTM scrub gently polishes the skin to symbolise the renewed life associated with summer. Awaken your senses and melt away the stresses of daily life with the touch of soft, luxurious massage strokes performed with the reviving aromatic power of citrus essential oils captured in luxurious shea butter blocks.

Couples Connect

Designed for couples to experience together, this African voyage is the perfect antidote to stress, and allows for a memorable physical, emotional and spiritual connection. Inspired by Africa’s traditional use of wood epitomised in wedding ceremonies, “swarthout” wooden implements used during the massage represent the strength and life of two trees, signifying strong beginnings, and symbolising the beautiful union of body, mind and soul. This complete head-to-toe treatment uses natural botanical mood-enhancing geranium and jasmine to relax the senses and help to strengthen the immune system while leaving your skin soft and renewed. Dermo Peel

Dermo-Peel Expert is an intensive exfoliating treatment that resurfaces the skin for a refreshed, radiant complexion. Formulated with an enzymatic peel of pineapple stem and marine plankton, the treatment also includes allontoin and horsetail extract to regenerate and improve elasticity. The skin is rejuvenated from a cutaneous level and the peeling effect lasts for three to four days. Dermaplaning

Skin blading, also known as dermaplaning, is a safe, non-invasive treatment that utilises a sterile surgical scalpel. This special tool is brushed back and forth over the face to remove excess skin cells, as well as vellus hair, also known as peach fuzz. This process of mechanical exfoliation stimulates and regenerates the deeper layers of the dermis. Increased collagen production improves skin tightness and texture.

Lomi lomi is a traditional healing massage of Hawaiian origin, based on the principles of love, unification and promoting personal harmony. Specialised techniques help the body to let go of old patterns and behaviours by incorporating long, flowing, rhythmical strokes using light to deep pressure to realign the body, improve circulation and restore energy. Also known as the “loving touch’” massage, the ylang-ylang and basil infusion helps to reduce mental fatigue as a result of stress, while hands covered in nourishing macadamia and coconut oil work on the muscles in a deep, yet gentle way to instil a sense of peace and promote harmony and balance in the body.

Holistic Exercise

A TechnoGym-equipped gym caters exclusively to the most fitness-orientated resident Leeu Collection guests. Walkers, joggers and cyclists can take to the extensive network of trails that crisscross the property with its hilly mountain slopes and river banks. Personal training, Pilates and yoga are also available. Leeu Estates’ revitalising yoga lawn is set among vineyards and overlooks the majestic mountains. Sessions can be booked with our yoga instructor. These are by appointment only, and require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to book and confirm.
