mentorship - university of michigan
TRANSCRIPT
November promises to be another exciting month with lots of fun-filled activities! We are offering a large variety of events, so find what suits you, and plan ahead.
November is a month of high stress for students since midterms/papers are due this month and Thanksgiving approaches faster than we expect. Remember to schedule some relaxation time. Take care of yourself this month and we’ll see you soon!
November is an exciting time at the University of Michigan. Fall is in full swing, Thanksgiving break promises turkey and stuffing, and the end of the semester is just around the corner!
October was a great month for Mentorship. We hope you were able to join us at Three Cedar’s Farm for our annual cider mill trip. Faculty and Staff mentors got to know each other better over lunch, and everyone
came together at the [How Not to Waste Your] First Summer at Michigan workshop! We celebrated the end of the month with our annual Stressbuster sand Study Skills event. (I hope everyone liked the yummy cupcakes!)

At the annual Stressbusters event, Mentorship and
Transfer Connections collaborated to bring students to-
gether for an evening of stress-relief. There were mas-
sages, chair yoga, craft projects, and delicious food/
cupcakes from Jefferson Market. Students also had the
opportunity to receive academic advice about tutoring
centers on campus, and were able to meet with a nutri-
tionist about staying healthy. Many students and faculty/
staff left the event feeling much more stress-free!
