'Preserving our Heritage'

As part of Council's park refurbishment programme, and in conjunction with the Mentone RSL, a landscape concept plan has been prepared to illustrate the creation of a proposed Honour Roll and associated park restoration works.

Key elements of the project include:The design and installation of an Honour Roll to complement the existing war memorial.The re-alighnment of the war memorial to highlight the central axis to the tower of the Mentone RSL.An accessible link between the Mentone RSL and the park.The creation of a tranquil garden and contemplation space.Significant tree and garden planting.The installation of park furniture and lighting.
