farm. This donation helps cover expenses like seed,
fertilizer and insurance. Proceeds from the farm go toward tuition at Holy Cross School for Peterstown families. Please
help to support the parish farm and in turn support the catholic education of our children.
PRAYER TO ST SIMON AND ST JUDE, APOSTLES ST SIMON AND ST JUDE, APOSTLES; FEAST:
OCTOBER 28
Little is known of these two apostles, whose names are always linked in the Gospel accounts. Simon is called the Zealot, and Jude “son of James.”
PRAYER:
Father, you revealed yourself to us through the preaching of your apostles Simon and Jude. By their prayers, give your Church continued growth and increase the number of those who believe in you. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.

2018 “Daily Dollars” Calendar
The Daily Dollar Calendars are here. This is a great
fundraiser for Holy Cross School. They will be available in the church vestibule and church pews.
Seven individual calendars are enclosed. Each calendar costs $25, and if you purchase/sell six of them you will
receive the 7th one free. Additional calendars are available in the church office. There is a special drawing
for those who sell more than the original six. For each
additional six you sell, you will also receive another 7th one free as usual, but you will get one
entry into an early bird drawing worth $500 dollars. This drawing is only if you sell more than
the original six. And it is one entry for every 6
additional calendars sold. So do not hesitate to ask your family and friends and co-workers to
help support the efforts of our school.
Thank you in advance for you support of the “Daily Dollars” Calendar fundraiser.

St Mary’s Altar Society
What a wonderful evening many of us shared at the first meeting of our year for St. Mary’s Altar Society. The food was delicious, program was interesting, and it was great to have so many members and guests in attendance. Thanks to everyone for being there!
Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 15th at 6pm at The Other Side Restaurant. I hope that you can join us for the evening. Our program will feature local florist, Jerry Prokuski, as he presents The Holiday Revolving Door and other decorating ideas. Guests are always welcome! We would like to extend a special invitation to the ladies of Sts Peter & Paul Church to join us for the evening.
More information regarding the dinner will follow. Please check the bulletin for details. Enjoy the beautiful fall weather!
