• Participants suggested to add “phsical violance” as a definition of violance.

• They found realistic the results of the survey.

• They expressed that sexual abusement mostly exploited as orally and students agitate eachother by separating themselves in groups.

• The most popular answer is “ outside of the school”.

• Participants commented “outside of the school” at the exit of school place.

• Generally students prefer outside of the school to improve punishing by a disciplinable offence.

• It is also reported that the violance in internet mostly reveals in the electronic games.

• It was stated that silent children are more frequently exposed to violance ( such as taking their money by coercion).

• It is thought that over-selfconfident children are tended to violance,too.

• Typical characteristics of an assailant are described as “angry and nervous” by the survey respondents.

• It is expressed that due to the violance in their family, students percieve beating is something usual.

According to the questionnaire results,

behaviours such as contempt, taunt and humiliation are indicated as reasons. Participants think especially since children take TV characters as an example, they are more tended to violance.

• Physical violance: beating, fight

• Physicological violance: curse, abusement, humiliation

• Mr. Birol, one of the teachers, said that

“There was violance in our school years indeed but we don’t lead young people to social activities (sport, theatre, art ...) now. Therefore, children are more tended to violance.”

These reasons and suggessions were presented regarding to prevent young

people’s behaviours including violance:

• Teachers should be closer to the students. But teachers can not share enough time to the students due to the work load.

• Parents should care and show their feelings.

• Exam system is very effective factor and that take a big part of their time so they can not spend time for social activities.

• A parent of student: “ I am trying to direct my child to the sport and other social activities.”

• Students don’t have time even in the weekend times. Therefore parents have problems also spending time with their own cildren.

• Students don’t know how to anaylze and interpret so they can not express themselves well and they are not productive and creative.

• During the all interviews, teachers freuquently indicated that importance of social activities. But in the questionnaires only 8 teachers had marked the option stating that “ social activities should be developed”.

• According to the parents, students are not aware that they are behaving in violance and they can not perceive that this is wrong. Parents think that virtual violance has big impact in this situation.

• Hacking facebook password.

• Changing someone elses profile picture,

• Misusing and abusing photographs there,

• Unfavorable correspondence and talks,

• Complaning on teachers by students .

• In the session it is stated that virtual violance is more oftenly physicological. Communication is not face to face and probably they don’t know the person that they chat.

• It is possible to be subject to virtual violance from all over the world. There is no distance.

Most frequent virtual violance cases are stated as :

• Hacking-stealing password,• Increasing emotion of hatred in children,• Percieving violance as a usual and normal behaviour,• Decrease in moral values, • Becoming more tended to lie,• Degeneracy,• Slang habits,• Breaking communication between teacher-student-

parents,• Increasing conflict and gap between generations.
