Systemvorraussetzungen










Bei Neuinstallation bitte die Reihenfolge beachten

1. Manuelles erstellen zweier benötigter Ordner

( Siehe Folgeseite )

2. Treiberinstallation

( Adapter hierbei noch nicht mit PC verbinden )

3. Doctor Softwareinstallation

4. MemWriter Softwareinstallation inkl. Konfiguration

( Dateien werden nur entpackt und verschoben )

Manuelles erstellen zweier benötigter Ordner

Öffnen Sie mit dem Explorer Ihre Festplatte C:\ und erstellen Sie direkt auf dieser Ebene

manuell einen neuen Ordner und benennen Sie diesen „rfx “

Öffnen Sie den „rfx“ Ordner und erstellen Sie in diesem Ordner einen neuen Ordner welcher

als „out“ benannt werden muss.

Installation des Treibers

Verbinden Sie den Adapter noch nicht mit Ihren PC, führen Sie zunächst

die Installationsdatei des Treibers aus.

PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_v1417.exe

Starten Sie das Setup und führen Sie diese mit „Weiter“ / „Next“ bis zum

Ende durch.

Nach abgeschlossener Installation können Sie nun per USB-Kabel den

Adapter mit Ihrem PC verbinden. Windows wird die neue Hardware erkennen

und innerhalb weniger Sekunden automatisch den Treiber zu diesem Anschluss

verwenden.

Hinweis:

Windows wird dem USB-Port einen COM-Port zuweisen, wird der Adapter an einem anderen USB-Port

angeschlossen, wird sich der COM-Port ebenfalls ändern! Beachten Sie hierbei die Folgeseiten bei der

Verwendung des MemWriters oder Doctors!

Installation der Doctor Software

Führen Sie die Installation der Doctor Software durch, öffnen Sie hierzu die

setup.exe und führen Sie mit „Weiter“ / „Next“ die Installation bin zum Ende

durch. Alle vom System verwendeten Einstellungen während der Installation

sollten nicht umgestellt oder geändert werden.

In der Software können Sie nach dem öffnen Ihre gewünschte Sprache

einstellen, weitere Konfigurationen sind hierbei nicht mehr notwendig.

Hinweis:

Die Software wird automatisch installiert, nachdem die Installation abgeschlossen wurde, befindet sich ein

neues Programmsymbol direkt auf Ihrem Desktop. Beachten Sie bitte die Verwendung der Einstellung des

COM-Ports

Entpacken Sie den MemWriter*.ZIP Ordner auf einen beliebigen Ort, wir empfehlen

diesen Ordner direkt in das Verzeichnis zu verschieben indem sich bereits die

Doctor Software automatisch installiert hat.

Der Pfad heißt C:\indesit\

Öffnen Sie nachdem Sie diesen „verschoben“ haben und klicken Sie mit der rechten

Maustaste auf das u.g. Symbol, verwenden Sie „Senden an Desktop“ und auf Ihrem

Desktop wird die MemWriter Software eine korrekte Verknüpfung erstellen.

Hinweis:

Beachten Sie bitte die Verwendung der Einstellung des COM-Ports

Installation der MemWriter Software

Die MemWriter Software benötigt eine wichtige Einstellung, öffnen Sie hierzu das

Menü: „COMET“, tragen Sie hier das Passwort: MEMCOM261108 ein und

klicken Sie mit der Maus auf „OK“.

Hierbei muss die Einstellung auf Server DataBase umgestellt werden und

als „Techniker Nummer“ 999999 verwendet werden, nun können sie diese

Einstellung „sichern“

Hinweis:

Wird diese Konfiguration nicht gemacht, können keine Elektroniken programmiert werden!

Konfiguration der MemWriter Software

Prüfen Sie den verwendeten COM-Port

Prüfen Sie jedes mal wenn Sie den Adapter an irgendeinem USB-Port

anschließen, welcher COM-Port von Windows verwendet wurde. Wird

immer der gleiche USB-Port verwendet, bleibt der COM-Port ebenfalls

immer gleich.

1. Weg

Öffnen Sie den Gerätemanager unter Windows, hier wird ihnen der Adapter

Unter Anschlüsse (COM & LPT) angezeigt.

Prüfen Sie den verwendeten COM-Port

Prüfen Sie jedes mal wenn Sie den Adapter an irgendeinem USB-Port

anschließen, welcher COM-Port von Windows verwendet wurde. Wird

immer der gleiche USB-Port verwendet, bleibt der COM-Port ebenfalls

immer gleich.

2. Weg

Öffnen Sie von Windows das Menü: „Geräte & Drucker“, hier wird Ihnen

der nun Vorhandene Adapter angezeigt.

Verwendung der Doctor Software

Nach dem öffnen der Doctor Software muss in der Einstellung der entsprechende

COM-Port eingestellt werden. Nachdem der richtige COM-Port eingestellt wurde,

können Sie sich entweder direkt mit der Steuerung verbinden oder die Statistik

abrufen.

Verwendung der MemWriter Software

Nach dem öffnen der MemWriter Software muss in der Einstellung der entsprechende

COM-Port eingestellt werden. Nachdem der richtige COM-Port eingestellt wurde,

können Sie sich direkt mit der Steuerung verbinden.

Programmieren von Elektroniken außerhalb des Gerätes

Beachten Sie, dass Elektroniken erst in das Gerät verbaut und dann programmiert werden, ist

vor Ort keine direkte Verbindung mit dem Internet möglich, können Sie die Elektronik auch im

Büro, Geschäft, Werkstatt oder am Fahrzeug programmieren.

Schließen Sie hierzu direkt an der Elektronik ein Netzkabel an, ein passendes Netzkabel gibt

es unter ET-Nr. 4819 321 18136

MemWriter PC – Appendix 1 – Error Messages

ERROR DESCRIPTION: The memwriter cannot read the IDENTification TABLE of the electronic board. TROUBLESHOOTING: 1. Check that the Com port is correctly selected. 2. Ensure that the black hardware key icon (see par. 8) is being selected 3. The module may not have any firmware loaded (unable to be

programmed) 4. Check the board and/or the hardware key is properly powered 5. Check the connection between the board and the hardware key 6. Check to be within the Bluetooth range 7. Check for any communication interference (e.g.: very strong magnetic

fields, Wi-Fi interferences….) 8. Check for the integrity of the connection cables 9. Ensure that the software drivers are properly installed

ERROR DESCRIPTION: The memwriter cannot communicate with the hardware key TROUBLESHOOTING: 1. Ensure that the black hardware key icon (see par. 8) is being selected 2. Check that the appliance is connected to the mains supply / the hardware

key is powered. 3. Check the connection between the board and the hardware key 4. Check to be within the Bluetooth range 5. Check for any communication interference (e.g.: very stronge magnetic

fields, Wi-Fi interferences….) 6. Check for the integrity of the connection cables

ERROR DESCRIPTION: The selected Hardware Key icon is wrong TROUBLESHOOTING: 1. Wrong hardware key icon (see par. 8) selected in

Communication Settings. Select the black hardware key setting

ERROR DESCRIPTION: There was an error when the Memwriter tried to

communicate with the appliance TROUBLESHOOTING: 1. Ensure that the correct Com port is selected 2. Check that the connections (cables, plugs, connectors, ...)

are properly fixed - disconnect and re-connect several times 3. Check if there are any communication problems with the

remote assistance server 4. The setting file could not be present in the Remote

Assistance Server (please communicate to your Service Quality Manager)

ERROR DESCRIPTION: There was an error when the Memwriter tried to communicate with

the appliance TROUBLESHOOTING: Check that the user interface is not standing-by. Activate the user interface and try to re-program. (pay attention expecially to the cooking and dishwashing product).

ERROR DESCRIPTION: There was an error when checking the downloaded setting file TROUBLESHOOTING: 1. Try to download the setting file again 2. Check if you are programming the correct C+8 for the intended

appliance

ERROR DESCRIPTION: There was an error when the Memwriter tried to communicate with the appliance TROUBLESHOOTING: 1. You can get this error message when trying to program an EVO I board. Just try to re-program. If the error message pops-up in the verification step, the board was correctly written anyway.

ERROR DESCRIPTION: There was an error when the Memwriter tried to communicate with the appliance TROUBLESHOOTING: 1. Check if the Eeprom is inserted before programming an EVO I or EVOII

ERROR DESCRIPTION: The Com port is not open TROUBLESHOOTING 1. The Com port is closed. Open the port in Communication

Settings.

ERROR DESCRIPTION: The memwriter cannot read any data from the appliance TROUBLESHOOTING 1. Check the appliance type (i.e.: the correct electronic platform)

in Target Settings 2. Check that the appliance is connected to the mains supply /

the hardware key is powered 3. Ensure that the black hardware key icon (see par. 8) is being

selected

ERROR DESCRIPTION: There was an error trying to open the COM port TROUBLESHOOTING 1. Ensure that the USB cable is connected before opening the Com port 2. Check if the correct COM port has been selected (in Menu Windows -

Control Panel - Device Manager see the COM port where the hardware key was installed (USB or Bluetooth))

ERROR DESCRIPTION: The setting file is not compatible with the electronic board TROUBLESHOOTING 1. The file to be loaded on the board is from a different electronic platform

than the firmware on the board. Check the file on the server

ERROR DESCRIPTION: The MemWriter is trying to load the setting file from a local database,

but no folder was specified. TROUBLESHOOTING 1. Check that the “Server Database” in the “COMET Setup” dialog box

is checked, and that the “Local Database” is unchecked

ERROR DESCRIPTION: The downloaded setting file is not correct for the intended board TROUBLESHOOTING 1. The setting file was not properly downloaded from the server. Try

and download it again 2. A wrong platform was selected (e.g.: downloading an Arcadia file

setting on a EVO2 board). Select the correct platform (see par. 8)

ERROR DESCRIPTION: There was an error when the memwriter try to erase the old setting

file (maybe an interference when the SW is going to erase). TROUBLESHOOTING 1. Disconnect the mainboard from the power alimentation for one

minute. Just try programming once again 2. Use the white HW Key. If you have bought it after 04/2014 it has

the new firmware, otherwise be sure that it has been re-flashed with the new firmware.

ERROR DESCRIPTION: The version of memwriter that is used is an old version, and doesn’t

support the intended board TROUBLESHOOTING 1. Install the last released version of memwriter and try again to

program the board.

ERROR DESCRIPTION: The error message "I/O generic error" is an error message that

identifies that something went wrong during erasing or writing of the flash memory.

TROUBLESHOOTING 1. Problem during the communication with the board. Just try

programming once again. 2. The hardware key was disconnected during the downloading

causing a timeout. Just try programming once again. 3. An area of the flash memory of the board is damaged. Order

another board and try to program it.

From beginning of April 2008 spare parts warehouse started to manage the EVOII modules with

eeprom fixed, these can only be programmed with smart card/palmare/pc (so modules after that

date does not need a eeprom - skip step 1).

Attention!! The premodification with eeprom socket can be programmed with smart

card/palmare/pc using a blank eeprom or with pre programmed eeprom.
