GUIDELINES IN THE CONDUCT OF THE

ACADEMICS BIG DAY

EVENT DESCRIPTION

The first ACADEMICS BIG DAY opts to gather all of the Local Chapter

representatives in the entire region and aims to let the delegates show their wits

and skills, all to fortify the solidarity that JPIAns have. In our quest to be united,

there would be activities that shall test and glorify their skills in the academic

prowess, leadership potentials and character-building opportunities.

OBJECTIVES

To fulfill the Federation's Goals through one event that shall constitute a

fair representative of the members, which are: Academic Excellence,

Accountability and Administrative Support, Membership Empowerment

and Equality and Leadership Development and Cultivation.

To expose the members to the well renowned partner firms for their

dynamic development in knitting a thread of camaraderie among the

organizational culture.

To recognize the prestige of being an exclusive member of the Regional

Council and of the Local Chapters of the JPIAn family.

*Delegates of Academics Congress may be a non-member of any of the

Accounting Varsities.

PRE-REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

1. All delegates of the Academics Big Day shall be classified as pre-registered or

walk-ins. The Local Chapter President shall be primarily responsible in the pre-

registration of all the delegates from his/her Local Chapter in the Academics Big

Day. Consequently, the Regional Council President shall consolidate all of

his/her subordinates attending the event, so as to provide a comprehensive list

of pre-registered delegates. Such consolidation shall include delegates from

their local chapters.

2. Masterlist of the delegates (Please see NFJPIA-R4_1516_Masterlist_ABD.xlsx),

must be submitted by the Local Chapter Vice President for Academics to the

Regional Secretary General, Jenieva Recio, on or before January 10, 2016, the

official cut- time for distinguishment between pre-registered and walk-in

delegate, at [email protected] The flexibility of the

deadline shall be upon the discretion of the Regional Executive Officers, but for

fairness, the deadline must be set imperative and enforceable to all Local

Chapters.

3. The Regional Secretary General shall send a confirmation message to the

Local Chapter Representative regarding the number of pre-registered

delegates from the Local Chapter based on the official list maintained by the

Federation.

4. Once the local chapter sent the master list as confirmation of their

participants and attendees, it should be understood as good as sold.

PAYMENT SCHEME

1. Registration Fee of 150 php should be paid on the day of the event on

January 17, 2016. The fee must include the following:

Pm snack

Hawks Baller

2. Failure to present the waiver of the participants/attendees shall pay 50

php per waiver cannot be presented.

3. Official receipts shall only be issued by the Regional Vice President for

Finance on the event proper.
