MEMORANDUM DATE: February 8, 2017 TO: Brian Dissette FROM: Jason W. Marquardt, P.E. RE: SRF #5602-01 Dunkley and Black River Project Update Dunkley and Black River Project Sanitary sewer construction and piling construction continues adjacent to the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). This past week, installation has been completed on forcmain components along with sanitary sewer construction to the east of East Wells Street. This allowed utility lines and poles to be relocated to the easterly side of the roadway. Over the next two weeks, sanitary sewer will continue to be installed heading south away from the WWTP. We anticipate that the sewer construction to be at the first southerly corner in two (2) weeks. The construction of the sewer takes more time than standard construction due to the additional pile supporting and cradle construction. East Wells Street will be closed until further notice. Access to the boat launch area will not be allowed until further progress has been made on the sanitary sewer. The contractor will need a large area to properly install the sanitary sewer and cradle systems. Access will be provided to the boat launch facilities by April once sanitary sewer construction along East Wells Street have been completed. Road Closed signage will be in place at the intersection of Dunkley and East Wells Street. All construction on the east side of the Black River is scheduled for completion by June 30, 2017. The contractor will be reviewing this schedule based on the first few weeks of construction to get clearer picture of the timeline of work. Again, tailgate talks have been suspended until further notice and will resume once weather improves and work begins closer to residential properties. For anyone who has specific questions or comments, please feel free to contact me at (269) 926-4565.

RE: SRF #5602-01 Dunkley and Black River Project Update

Dunkley and Black River Project

Sanitary sewer construction and piling construction continues adjacent to the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).
