Holmes Institute HI5002 Memo 0-05: Marking Rubric – Trimester 03, 2014 Page 1 of 1 Marking Directions – for each of the four sub-tasks: Choose the appropriate column; Choose the appropriate percent within that column, Multiply the value in the task- description column by the appropriate percent and put in the appropriate cell (e.g. “Context Line” task is Acceptable at 56% = 10.0 x 56% = 5.6); Add all of the marks in the cells (round to the nearest whole number) and put the rounded total in the “Total Mark” cell; Divide the total by 7 and put the result into the “Adj. to 10.0” cell; put any general comments on the bottom and/or on the back. Put the student numbers on the marking rubric and attach to the back of the memo. Photocopy and retain a copy of the memos and marking rubrics.
