    CLERGY:

    Albert “Bert” Hanson January 7, 1938 – July 20, 2019

    Reverend Albert “Bert” Hanson died in Forest Grove, Oregon.

    He is survived by his wife, Sherry Hanson; daughters Kirsten Locke and Marlis Sears; sons, Albert Hanson, Jr. and Lewis Hanson; and eight grandchildren.

    Reverend Hanson served at Warrenton, Sheridan, John Day/Prairie City and Sutherlin/Wilber in the Oregon-Idaho Conference. He retired in 2004.

    William Edward Hare November 7, 1927 – August 9, 2019

    Williams Edward Hare attended Vancouver High School, Compton College, and received a Bachelor of Business Degree from UCLA and a Master in Divinity degree from Iliff School of Theology in Denver.

    During WWII he was in the US Army and served in the Philippines for a year. He worked for General Electric Company for 20 years as a salesman in Southern California and in the Denver, Colorado area.

    Reverend Hare became a probationary member of the Rocky Mountain Conference in 1972. He became a full member of the Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference in 1980. He served at Crescent-Marshall, Grace,

    Pawnee-Skedee, and Tulsa-St. Paul UMCs in Oklahoma; and at Lakeview-Paisley, Jerome, Dillard- Winston, Camas Valley, Tenmile, and Amity-McCabe UMCs in Oregon-Idaho. He retired in 1994.

    During his free time he enjoyed fishing, cooking, reading, crossword puzzles, painting, drawing, bowling, and square dancing. Throughout his life he was a member of many fraternal organizations.

    Rev. William Edward Hare had been married 72 years, his wife, retired local pastor Mary Ellen Hare, pass-ing just a little over five months prior to his death. He is survived by their children: Melinda Hare, James Hare and Kevin Hare; three of four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

    Elliot “Nick” Leroy Nichols November 11, 1921 – July 3, 2019

    Reverend Nichols served at Elgin-Cove in the Oregon-Idaho Conference from 1982-1988. His tenure was mostly as a local pastor, but he became an associate member of the annual conference in 1987. He retired in 1988.

    He was preceded in death by his wife, Clarissa “Curty” Marcella Lynch Nichols, and is survived by his daughter, Janice McLemore of Silverdale, WA; son, Larry Nichols of Seattle, WA; son, Kent Nichols of Whidbey Island, WA; son, Brian Nichols of Snohomish, WA; five grandsons, and ten great grandchildren.

    George Douglas Nicoll June 10, 1930 – December 11, 2019

    After a long illness, George Douglas “Doug” Nicoll, age 89, died December 11, 2019, in McMinnville, Oregon.

    He was born June 10, 1930, to George D. and Bonnie (Michael) Nicoll. He grew up in Portland and graduated from Willamette University in 1952. In 1953, he married Janet I. Stark of Portland. They enjoyed 66 years together until she passed away in September 2019. In 1955, he graduated from Boston University School of Theology and became a full elder member of the Oregon conference in 1956. In 1961, he received his Ph.D. in Russian and Soviet History at Boston University.

    From 1958 to 1995, he and Janet made their home in Beloit, Wisconsin, where Doug taught Russian History at Beloit College. Doug was a major contributor of articles on Russian history in the Modern Encyclopedia of Russian and Soviet History, as well as a published author on higher education, Oregon history and Scottish history. In 1995, Doug retired from the college as Emeritus Corlis Professor of History. He and Janet moved to McMinnville, where they spent their retirement years. He held his charge conference relationship at McMinnville UMC.

    In retirement, Doug worked for Habitat for Humanity and hiked with the Chemeketans. His travels included the Soviet Union, Russia, and Scotland, including playing golf at some of Scotland’s most famous courses.

    Doug was predeceased by his wife, Janet. Doug and Janet had no children. He is survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.

    Ernest Irving Smith October 24, 1942 – July 21, 2019

    Ernest was born in Syracuse, NY and started school in a one room schoolhouse. He attended Solvay High and became active in the music program, participating in band and vocals. After serving in the Air Force he returned to attend Oswego State and received a degree in speech, music and theatre. With his great voice he sang at many weddings, funerals, and other occasions, which helped with expenses. In 1974 he joined the Coast Guard and was assigned to Alaska where he became very involved with Northern Light United Methodist Church in Juneau, directing the choir and leading worship.

    He left the Coast Guard and returned to the East Coast to attend Drew Divinity Theological College in Madison NJ. While there he led his first church as a student pastor in Weedsport, NY. One of the high-lights during his ministry was a trip to the Holy Land and “walking in the footsteps where Jesus walked”. After retirement he was asked to give a couple days to the tiny church in North Powder, OR, which had the distinction of having more children than adults. During all those years his voice was also a highlight for those that heard him. He was a great leader for hymns. Two of his favorite sayings were, “Let go and let God,” and “Love them all and let God sort it out.”

    Reverend Smith served in Weedsport in the Central New York Annual Conference and at Eagle, Wasco, Union/Cove, Toledo, and North Powder in the Oregon-Idaho Conference. He retired in 2007.

    He is survived by his wife Neva Smith and children; Ernest I. Smith and Beth Smith; and grandson, Ernest I. Smith.

    James Harvey Smith June 12, 1919 – November 26, 2019

    Rev. James H. Smith served Rosbury UMC in the Kansas West Annual Conference; Waldwick Circuit in the Wisconsin Annual Conference; Willamina/Grand Ronde, Lake Oswego, Portland: Patton Central, Portland: Rose City Park Associate, Idaho Falls: St. Pauls, Oregon City, and Bennett Chapel UMCs in the Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference. He retired in 1985.

    He is survived by his daughter, RoxAnne Jetine Smith, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, B. June Smith, and two sons, Roger and Bryan.

    Carol J. Thompson September 5, 1943 – September 11, 2019

    Carol Thompson died on September 11, 2019 in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

    Reverend Thompson served at the Nooksack Indian UMC in the Pacific Northwest Conference. She served at Monroe, Lyons, New Meadows, Filer/Jerome, and Florence UMCs in the Oregon-Idaho Conference. She served as Executive Director of the Western Small Church and Rural Life Center in Filer, Idaho, and was on the faculty of the Northwest House of Theological Studies in Salem, OR. She served as Executive Director for Town and Country Ministries of the General Board of Global Ministries in New York from 2003 to 2008. Carol retired in 2013.

    Carol is survived by her daughter, Alysia Downs. She had one grandson, Weston.

    Thomas LaVern Truby November 26, 1946 – March 16, 2020

    The Rev. Dr. Thomas LaVern Truby died peacefully at home in Oregon City, his wife, Laura at his side.

    Tom was born in Aurelia, Iowa. After graduating from Randolph High (1965), he attained his BA degree in Psychology from Morningside College (1969), followed by a Master of Divinity degree at St. Paul School of Theology in Kansas City (1972), where he met his wife and soulmate, Laura Hamilton. Married May 16, 1971, they nearly reached their 50th anniversary.

    Reverend Truby served Bradshaw-Lushton UMC in the Nebraska Confer-ence. Moving to Chicago to study Pastoral Counseling at the Center for Religion and Psychotherapy, he simultaneously earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Chicago Theological School (1977). For 18 years he provided Pastoral Counseling in Missouri, Illinois and Michigan, ultimately through his own organization, Kalamazoo Counseling Ministries. He attained “Fellow” level in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, taught Family Systems Theory, and served as consultant.

    In 1995 he chose to return to parish ministry and served several churches in Michigan before moving to Oregon in 2006. He served Clarkes and Willamette UMCs in the Oregon-Idaho Conference. He retired in 2019 and was serving at Clarkes UMC when he died.

    Around 2000, Tom discovered Girardian Theory and intuited that it would provide the integration of anthropology and theology that he had searched for all his life. A member of Theology and Peace and of the Colloquium on Religion and Violence, Tom attended conferences, forming friendships with other Girardian writers. He was a voracious reader, deep thinker, illuminating writer, insightful preacher and Jesus-follower. His sermons are posted on girardianlectionary.net. Respected worldwide, Tom was an articulate witness to God’s love for all and that Jesus revealed there is no rivalry or violence in God, only forgiveness and peace. Tom believed in the Resurrection and modeled Jesus’ non-violence. He was a masterful gardener and storyteller.

    Tom was preceded in death by his father, LaVern J. Truby. His mother, Ruth Ellen Truby, 96, still lives on the family centennial farm near Randolph, Nebraska, where he was raised. He was with her for Thanksgiving 2019 and his last, 73rd, birthday. Tom is survived by four younger sisters, Mary (Eddie) Smith, Sylvia (James) Johnson, Pat Truby and Nancy (Jim) Travnicek. Tom is also survived by his wife, Rev. Laura Truby, daughter, Angela (Seth) Truby; son, Aaron Truby; and granddaughters, Willa Clare and Iona. A wonderful father and grandfather, he was very proud of each.

    Keith B. Wise  June 19, 1939 – June 14, 2019

    Reverend Keith Burnell Wise died on June 14, 2019 in Pendleton, Oregon. He is survived by his wife, Jean Wise; sister, Sherlyn Gregg; former wife, Patricia Wise; two sons, Michael (Karyn) Wise, and Matthew (Irene) Wise, and two daughters, Kathleen Edic, and Kristin (Gary) Wolf. Stepsons are Randy (Lynn) Dunn and Dan Dunn.  He is also survived by 11 grandchil-dren.

    Keith was born in Gap, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, to Levi N. and Ida M. Wise. He graduated from Pequea Valley High School in Kinzers, Pa., and attended Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pa. While attending United Theological Seminary he married Patricia Petrullo. They had four children.

    Keith began his ministry in the Eastern Conference of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and the United Methodist Church (formerly EUB) in Southern New Jersey Conference (now Greater New Jersey Conference).

    As a part of his ministry, Keith was sent by the National Board of Missions to a missionary church in Homer, Alaska, serving a tri-church ministry with Homer, Seldovia and Ninilchik churches from 1972 to 1983. He then served the New Hope Church, a combined Presbyterian-Methodist congregation in North Pole, Alaska, from 1983 to 1992. He especially loved attending meetings in which Korean, Athabaskan and English-speaking congregations sang “How Great Thou Art” in their native tongues blending so beauti-fully together. When time allowed, Keith loved to go hunting and fishing with friends and family.

    While appointed to Rupert UMC in Idaho, Keith especially loved baptizing family campers in the South Fork of the Boise River at Sawtooth Camp. Keith became a voluntary Idaho State Police chaplain.

    In 2005, after 44 years in the ministry, he retired and he and Jean moved to Pendleton, Oregon. He continued doing chaplain work for St. Anthony Hospital and enjoyed working with co-workers, working with patients in the hospital and on-call emergency room visits and also as hospice chaplain. Hospice pro-gram was extremely important to him. Keith continued to be connected to the Oregon-Idaho Conference of the United Methodist Church, serving on the Boards of Trustees and Camp and Retreat Ministry before illness slowed him down.

    LICENSED LOCAL PASTOR:

    Davey M. Lefler January 26, 1953 – December 18, 2019

    Davey M. Lefler died on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the age of 66, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

    Pastor Lefler served the Kirkwood and Altona UMCs in the Illinois-Great Rivers Annual Conference. He served at Shelley, Aberdeen, American Falls, and Chubbuck UMCs in the Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference, serving all four churches as one circuit since 2009. He was serving at the time of his death.

    He is survived by his wife, Roberta Lefler, and three sons: Chad, Robert, and Joseph. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.

    SPOUSES OF RETIRED CLERGY:

    Alice Platt Brooks September 4, 1934 – January 28, 2020

    Alice P. Brooks, spouse of Rev. Fred R. Brooks, Jr, died on January 28, 2020. She is survived by her husband, Fred; children Thomas and Martin; and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Trevor and Clara.

    Born September 4, 1934, in Oneonta, NY, Alice was the daughter of the late Levi M. Platt and Mildred Metcalf Platt. Alice grew up on dairy farms in Laurens, NY, and Fly Creek, NY.

    On October 10, 1953, Alice and Fred R. Brooks, Jr. were married in The Methodist Church in Fly Creek, NY. They met while in high school and graduated in the same class. Committed to a lifelong adventure together, they recently celebrated 66 years of marriage. After Fred completed college, the couple moved to New Haven, CT, where Fred attended Yale University Divinity School. Alice graduated with a B.S. in English from Southern Connecticut State College.

    In addition to providing an inspiring home for her family, Alice devoted her talents to serving her community. She was involved in church and community life in varied and numerous volunteer roles. She served as a foster care caseworker with the Broome County Department of Social Services in the 1980s and 1990s.

    Alice also assisted her husband in his ministry. Reverend Brooks served at First Methodist Church, Oneonta, New York in the Wyoming Conference. He also served Eugene: Asbury in the Oregon-Idaho Conference. He served as Director of Aid and Admissions and Assistant Dean of Students at University of Chicago, Director of Admissions at Vassar College, Assistant Vice President at the State University of New York, and Director of Admissions at Marywood College. He retired in 1999. He served for a time after retirement at the First United Methodist Church of Forest Home (Forest Home Chapel) in Ithaca, New York in the Upper New York Conference.

    Memorial contributions may be made in Alice’s memory to global relief efforts of the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) through the Vestal United Methodist Church or to the League of Women Voters of Broome and Tioga Counties, P.O. Box 944, Vestal, NY 13851.

    LaRae Groves December 19, 1939 – February 10, 2020

    LaRae Groves, spouse of pastor Eugene Groves, died on February 10, 2020. LaRae is survived by her husband, Eugene; children, Jeffry and Joel; and two grandchildren.

    Rev. Groves served at Sutherlin-Wilbur in the Oregon-Idaho Conference and at Chugiak, Fairbanks and Anchorage First in the Alaska Conference.

    A. Boyd Jeffery May 20, 1947 – March 13, 2020

    A. Boyd Jeffery, spouse of retired pastor Rev. Gay Jeffery, died on March 13, 2020. Boyd is survived by his wife, Gay; children, Kirk, Carl and Keith; and five grandchildren.

    Rev. Jeffery served at the Caldwell, Wilder, Buhl and Blackfoot: Jason Lee Memorial UMCs in the Oregon-Idaho Conference. She retired in 2013.

    Janet I. Nicoll December 11, 1929 – September 16, 2019

    Janet was born Dec. 11, 1929, in Portland, daughter of Raleigh D. and Isabelle (Petrie) Stark. Janet graduated from Willamette University in 1951 with a BA in English Literature. She earned her teaching credentials in 1952 at Lewis & Clark College and then taught in Lake Grove, Ore.; Newton, Mass.; and Beloit, Wis. She married G. Douglas Nicoll in 1953 in Portland, the beginning of 66 loving years together. They moved to Boston where her husband completed his graduate studies at Boston University in the fields of Church History and Russian and Soviet History. In 1958, they moved to Beloit, Wis., when Douglas joined the faculty of Beloit College.

    Janet was active in church, college, and community affairs during the years in Beloit, serving in many volunteer roles. Her major hobby was collecting political campaign memorabilia and she was well known for presentations about early political campaign songs. Janet and Douglas enjoyed travel to Europe, particularly Russia and Scotland, where they explored their shared ancestry.

    With the move to McMinnville, Oregon upon Doug’s retirement, Janet became the family historian and meticulously traced both her and her husband’s family histories. She and Doug had no children, and she is survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.

    Darryll Lynn Brass December 31, 1939 – August 6, 2019

    Darryll Lynn Brass, the husband of Lay Pastor Connie Brass, died on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. He is survived by his wife Connie, his two sons, 10 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Pastor Connie Brass is currently serving at Richfield UMC and Shoshone UMC in South Central Idaho for the Oregon-Idaho Conference.

    Michael “Skip” Matthews February 5, 1958 – August 12, 2019

    Michael “Skip” Matthews, spouse of pastor Kathy Matthews, died on August 12, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Pastor Kathy Matthews, their children, David and Sheri, five grandchildren and six great-grand-children. Pastor Kathy Matthews has been serving Warrenton UMC in the Oregon-Idaho Conference.

    SPOUSES OF DECEASED CLERGY

    Jeanne C. Hunnex Hall June 18, 1922 – November 17, 2019

    Jeanne C. Hunnex Hall, surviving spouse of Rev. Myron (Mike) Hall, died November 17, 2019, in Salem, OR.

    Jeanne was born in the same house as her mother in Hubbard, Oregon. She spent her school years in Medford, received a degree from Univer-sity of Redlands, California, a master’s degree from OCE (now Western Oregon University), and a Certificate of School Administration from University of Oregon.

    Jeanne taught first grade at the “old” Bush School in Salem for 11 years. She was Teaching Principal at Roberts, Sunnyside, Garfield, and Mt. View Schools before their closure, and as Supervising Principal at Swegle and Brush College Schools. Her final four years of teaching were with first graders (her first love) at Baker School.

    Jeanne married Milton D. Hunnex in 1940. In 1975, she married Myron (Mike) Hall; they moved to Capital Manor in 1993.

    After her marriage to Reverend Hall in 1975, Mike served the Mid-Willamette Council of Governments as a Health and Aging Planner, Jefferson-EMO Director of Legislative and Government Affairs, and as pastor at Eugene: Wesley and West Salem UMCs in the Oregon-Idaho Conference. He retired in 1985.

    Jeanne is survived by three children, Diane Dorsch, James Hunnex, and Richard Hunnex; and three step-children, Lenore Hall, Lark Hall, and the Rev. April Hall Cutting, along with 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Hall, who died in 1997, and stepson Scott Hall who died in September 2019.

    Loraine McCarthy April 26, 1929 – January 18, 2020

    Loraine A. McCarthy, surviving spouse of the Rev. Charles “Charlie” McCarthy, died on Saturday, January 18, 2020. She is survived by her three children: Marilyn Reilly, Bruce Sarpola and Dick Sarpola. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

    Reverend McCarthy served Lyons, Willamina/Grand Ronde, Eugene: First, Seaside, Grants Pass, Springfield: Ebbert, Southern District Superintendent and McMinnville in the Oregon-Idaho Conference. He retired in 1994.

    Marian Poindexter April 5, 1929 – January 25, 2020

    Marian Poindexter, surviving spouse of the Rev. David Poindexter, died on January 25, 2020. She is survived by her son, James D. Poindexter.

    Reverend Poindexter served at Portland: Parkrose Heights in the Oregon-Idaho Conference, The National Council of Churches, Board of Church and Society, and as President, Population Communications International. He retired in 1998.

    June Astrid Peterson Powers September 7, 1927 – December 27, 2019

    June A. Powers, surviving spouse of Rev. John “Jack” Powers, died Friday, December 27, 2019. June is survived by her children, Jeffrey Powers and Julie Powers Aalbers, and four grandchildren

    June was born in 1927 as June Peterson in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Marcus and Velma Shaw-Peterson. She grew up in Rock Island, Illinois with her brother Victor and sister Janice. She graduated from Rock Island High School in 1945, then attended Kendall College in Evanston, Ill and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa in 1950. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Christian Education from Garrett College in Evanston, Illinois in 1952.

    June met Jack Powers at a YMCA camp in Estes Park, Colorado in1954. They married in Wauwatosa, WI, June 11, 1955.

    June served as the director of Christian Education and Youth in her first job in Illinois. She eventually be-came a schoolteacher and taught Kindergarten and First grade for over 25 years. She taught at Englewood Elementary School in Salem before retiring in 1995. She received the Darrel Crossler Outstanding Educa-tor Award in 1994. June loved children and was a kindergartener at heart; she was loved by her students.

    June loved spending time with family and friends and the mountains, hiking, swimming, painting and most of all dancing. She was a joyous person who could light up a room.

    Letha M. Remaley November 29, 1923 – December 12, 2019

    Letha Remaley, surviving spouse of Rev. Delbert Remaley, died December 12, 2019. Letha is survived by her children, Paula, Wes, Philip and Sue, 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.

    Reverend Delbert Remaley served churches in North Arkansas and Pennsylvania Conferences; and at Kimberly, Murtaugh, Tillamook, Bay City, Blackfoot, Shelley, Payette and Gooding in the Oregon-Idaho Conference. He retired in 1985.

    Yowko Ichioka Richardson September 1, 1933 – November 4, 2019

    Yowko Ichioka Richardson, surviving spouse of Rev. Austin Harper Richardson, died November 4, 2019. Yowko had no children, and is survived by her brother, Victor Ichioka, brother Eddie, and a sister, Pat. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Richardson, who died in 2012, and a brother, Yuji.

    Reverend Richardson served St. Charles Stockton in the Minnesota Conference; Hathaway in the East Ohio Conference; Yakima Wesley in the Pacific Northwest Conference; Coos Bay, Portland: Centenary- Wilbur, Eugene: Asbury, Salem: Jason Lee, and Portland: Laurelwood in the Oregon-Idaho Conference before retiring in 1988.

    Ernest “Ernie” Stoppel February 23, 1931 – March 5, 2020

    Ernest “Ernie” Stoppel, surviving spouse of pastor Jeanie Y. Stoppel, died on March 5, 2020. Ernie is survived by his sons and their wives: Paul (Cathy) and Tracy (Cathy) and their grandsons: Jeff and Jordan.

    Pastor Stoppel served at the Reedsport, Vale, and Cherry Park Churches in the Oregon-Idaho Conference. She retired in 2001.

    Milner “Mickey” E. Stubbs December 7, 1921 – November 15, 2019

    Mickey Stubbs, surviving spouse of Rev. Edward J. Stubbs, died November 15, 2019. Mickey is survived by her three children, David Stubbs, Steven Stubbs and Annie VanNatta; and one grandchild, Krissy Harry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Stubbs, who died in 1984.

    Reverend Stubbs served North Powder-Haines, Weiser-Huntington, Aberdeen-American Falls, Gooding and Odell-Pine Grove in the Oregon-Idaho Conference. He retired in 1982.

    Katherine Gillespie Trost Stultz September 27, 1927 – February 2, 2020

    Katherine Trost Stultz, surviving spouse of the Rev. John E. Trost, died on February 2, 2020.

    Reverend Trost served at Weiser-Huntington and Boise: Collister-Eagle in the Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference. He also served at Mariana Grace, Malone and Cambellton-Spring Hill in the Alabama-West Florida Conference. He retired in 1976 and died in 1999.

    Mary “Margaret” Turner July 26, 1918 – August 9, 2019

    Mary Margaret Turner, mother of Reverend Marshall Wattman-Turner, and surviving spouse of Reverend G. Wesley “Wes” Turner, died on Friday, August 9, 2019. Margaret is survived by her three children, nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

    Rev. Wes Turner, who died in 2000, served at Tuscola in the Northwest Texas Conference and as a chaplain in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. He served Salem: Leslie UMC, Lebanon, Grants Pass UMC and Silverton UMC in the Oregon-Idaho Conference. He retired in 1969.

    Margaret had been a member of Oak Grove UMC and active in United Methodist Women there since 2001.

    Margaret Maule Walker August 7, 1921 – October 31, 2019

    Margaret M. Walker was the surviving spouse of Rev. Paul D. Walker.

    Margaret was the daughter of Andrew and Margaret Lance. She graduated from Pasco High School in 1940, and then attended Deaconess Nursing School in Spokane. She graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1942. Most of her career was spent at Our Lady of Lourdes in Pasco, where she retired at the age of 70. October 29, 1945, Margaret married Paul D. Walker at her parents’ home in Pasco. They were married for 65 years. Reverend Paul D. Walker served at Kellyville, Jenks and Idabel in the Oklahoma Conference and at Hood River, Hood River-Pine Grove and Sherwood-Ebenezer in the Oregon-Idaho Conference. He retired in 1991.

    After retirement, they enjoyed the motorhome life. Margaret drove their big rig until the age of 85. Her family and friends remember her devotion to God, kindness, love and self-sacrificing nature. As a member of Central United Protestant in Richland, she was a faithful prayer warrior, and she enjoyed the services and activities offered there. She was loved and admired by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and she will be greatly missed.

    Margaret is survived by her sons, Paul L. (Marti) and Jim (Carrie), her loving companion, Bill Hoyt, eight grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
