WHO WE AREThe Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA) is a national trade association that represents the solar energy industry throughout Canada. Since 1992, CanSIA has worked to develop a strong, efficient, ethical and professional Canadian solar energy industry with capacity to provide innovative solar energy solutions and to play a major role in the global transition to a sustain-able, clean-energy future

At CanSIA, we believe that the role of a trade association is not only to represent its members on issues of the day, but to position the industry for sustainable growth over the long term.

ABOUT OUR MEMBERSCanSIA members are companies involved with the delivery of solar energy products and services in Canada, or with the delivery of other products and services to Canada’s solar energy sector. CanSIA proudly represents manufacturers, installers, project developers, builders, architects, engineers, consultants, and a variety of other companies and organiza-tions who contribute directly to the growing number of solar projects in Canada.

VISIONCanSIA actively represents the Canadian solar industry by promoting the unique economic, environmental and technology benefits of solar energy in Canada. Our goal is to be the trusted source of information about solar energy and its growing importance to Cana-dian energy consumers.

Choosing a Membership

Level

Members select a level based on company size and membership objectives, or a combination of the two.

1. Company Size and Solar Investment

Larger companies tend to have more invested in the industry and more to gain. As such, the recommendations for membership level selection in the table below ask larger companies for a greater contribution to CanSIA. 2. Membership Objectives

Whether your company is looking to be more visible to potential clients or wants to influence policy directives affecting the industry today and into the future, CanSIA offers a number of opportunities to help your company or organization pursue these and many other goals.
