ABOUTICT ACADEMYICT Academy is an initiative of the Government of India in collaboration with the state governments and Industries. ICT Academy is a
not-for-pro�t society, the �rst of its kind pioneer venture under the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) model that endeavours to train
the higher education teachers and students thereby exercises developing the next generation teachers and industry-ready
students.
In the last 7 years, ICT Academy has strived on every aspect to provide holistic service to every stakeholder of the education
ecosystem in developing the next generation of talent pool in India, to make them industry-ready employees, innovators,
entrepreneurs and leaders.
With training of teachers and students as the primary objective, ICT Academy has been working through a Seven Pillar Program in the
areas of Faculty Development, Student Skill Development, Entrepreneurship Development, Youth Empowerment, Industry-Institute
Interaction, Digital Empowerment and Research & Publications.

The ICT Academy has been single-mindedly pursuing the goal of
improving the capability of the talent pool coming out of hundreds of
colleges and universities. In an increasingly innovative and competitive
world, it is the desire of ICT Academy to forge even stronger relationship
between the academia and the industry. Aspects of curriculum, research
and teaching methods are jointly evolved for a country that counts
technology as its key differentiator. The effort of ICT Academy will be to
forge a strong bond by encouraging ICT Corporations to play an active
role in all aspects of talent building and research. On behalf of ICT
Academy, I humbly request your greater interest in participating in the
initiatives of the Academy.

NITI AayogENDORSEMENTICT Academy is endorsed and recommended by NITI Aayog (National Institution for Transforming India Aayog), the National
Planning body of Government of India as one of the unique organization for dissemination and replication, which is aligned to the
Skill India Vision of the Government of India. Based on this recommendation, and on having successfully implementing its initiatives
in the 8 years since inception, ICT Academy now, extends its membership services to colleges across India.
MEMBERSHIPPRIVILEGES
With the aim of equipping faculty members with required skills and knowledge,
ICT Academy pursues the Faculty Development Program as its primary objective.
4 ICT Academy conducts training programs and expert led workshops for the
faculty members.
4 All Faculty Development Programs of ICT Academy are supported by leading
corporate in the ICT sector including major players like Cognizant
Technology Solutions, Tata Consultancy Services, VMware, Hortonworks,
Hexaware, Intel, Autodesk, Oracle Corporation, Dell EMC, IBM India, NVIDIA,
National Instruments and Cadence etc.
4 ICT Academy would train minimum ten faculty members of its member
institutions in a year. Every Faculty Development Program is supported with
effective pedagogical tools for the faculty to use in transferring the
knowledge to students in the colleges.
1. Faculty Development Initiatives
ICT ACADEMYINSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIPICT Academy invites higher educational institutions (Technical Universities, Engineering Colleges, Arts & Science
Colleges) to be a part of this initiative thereby bene�tting the faculty members and students through various
initiatives of the Academy, which includes Faculty Development, Training Programs, Skill Development Initiatives,
Research, Industry-Institute Interaction, Nurturing Innovation etc. ICT Academy already has a membership base
with 560 institutions across the nation.
With an objective of creating Indian-based Research Journals of international
quality and to build up local research content, ICT Academy publishes �ve peer
reviewed International Journals on quarterly basis. These Journals highlight the
continued growth and addresses new challenges in basic research and
application development.
ICT Academy shall provide 2 copies of its peer reviewed international journals to
the member institution

2. ICT Academy Research Journals
ICT Academy facilitates its member institutions to obtain corporate partnership
with leading technology companies through ICT Academy - Corporate
Academic Alliance program.
4 Through this initiative, ICT Academy facilitates the member institutions to
avail the resources like software, web contents, tools and learning materials,
as a part of the Academic Alliance Programs of such corporate.
4 ICT Academy member institutions will get an opportunity to collaborate
with leading corporate and shall set up Centre of Excellence (CoE) in the
institution.
4 All corporate programs will be based as per the terms and conditions set by
the corporate companies.
4. Corporate Partnership Programs
ICT Academy Student Skill Training includes training on various Employability
Skills development and course modules on various domains. These skill
development programs include both Technical and Soft Skills course modules.
These courses are created with a vision to enhance the skills that students require
to become industry-ready.
4 All courses are developed through the ICT Academy Course Development
Framework which is guided by the Industry experts.
4 The Student Skill Development courses are offered in ToT model and Direct
Training Model.
4 ICT Academy trains the students of the member institution through TTT
model on the niche technologies and soft skill programs and will equip them
with the industry certi�cation at a subsidized cost.

"ICT CONNECT" Magazine - An Edutech Quarterly Publication Since 2010
ICT Connect is published with an objective to provide a platform for the students, teachers,
researchers and corporate executives to share Best practices in the industry, learn
technological advancements in ICT, obtain Career guidance, Skill development, gain exposure
to Case studies, Skill Gap Analysis, teaching and learning methodologies, and receive
information on areas emergent in ICT Industry, and many more.
4 We believe dissemination of information is itself a step towards empowerment.
4 ICT Academy provides member institutions with open access.
Youth Street
4 Youth Street is a bimonthly published to entertain youth with information.
4 "Youth Street" seeks to publish anything under the sun that is informative and useful for
youth. We welcome content from authors and experts primarily, and articles from readers
too.
4 Faculty members can contribute articles for the magazines sharing their experiences with
the student community.
5. ICT Academy Publications
Power Seminar is an initiative to host the expert-led seminar
series dedicated to current and emerging topics across
domains.
4 ICT Academy Power Seminar series features noted
industry experts as speakers, addressing the students at
member institutions on speci�c technical topics for
speci�c student groups. .
4 These seminars are to ignite the minds of the students
with enhanced academic skills, inter–disciplinary skills,
critical thinking skills and the latest industry updates
which are necessary for academic success.
4 Power Seminar is conducted based on the request made
by the member institutions and on agreement to the
terms and conditions set by ICT Academy.
7. Seminars at colleges
ICT Academy provides its member institutions with free access to ICT Academy
education portal, software and resources of partner companies to the faculty
members of Member Institutions.
4 The learning portal provides various advantages to the learners such as Self-
Paced Learning, Self tracking, Discussion with Peers and Online
Assessments.
4 Free access to software is based on the terms set by the respective corporate
partners.
6. Free Software and Access to content
ICT Academy organizes various conferences and events with a speci�c objective of enhancing the Industry and Academia
Interaction. Through these events, ICT Academy creates a platform for its member institutions to interact, collaborate and work
closer with the industry.
4 These events address the key challenges in creating industry relevant education scenario in the country.
4 ICT Academy would invite its member institutions to participate in all its events at a subsidized special member fee.
8. ICT Academy Events
ICT Academy Youth Contests are opportunities for youth to practice their
communication, presentation and leadership skills, and speaking skills by
sharing the experience, re�ecting on the speech, connecting it to real life
examples, and applying that knowledge to other relevant situations.
4 Youth Contests identify the talents among students and provide them a
platform to showcase their ideas through speaking and presentation skills.
4 State level contests will be conducted and Students from member
institutions can register and participate in the Youth Contest
9. ICT Academy Youth Contests
The Academy identi�es and recognizes the administrators, teachers, and
students to collectively pool in innovation and best practices across the nation to
vitalize the present ecosystem and impact the future of the nation.

ICT Academy supports its Member Institutions in conducting National and International level Conferences, Workshops, Seminars,
Symposium and other events in the areas of ICT.
4 ICT Academy assists its Member Institutions' conferences by creating a platform in bringing together the experts from industry,
academia, government and R & D organizations to discuss and share their expertise on the conference topics and themes.
4 Based on the request from the Member Institutions and the number of papers submitted, ICT Academy will collaborate to
conduct the conference organized by the Member Institutions.
