NOW ENROLLING SCHOOL AGE ENRICHMENT PROGRAM (ALSO KNOWN AS THE BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CHILDCARE PROGRAM)

The YMCA Enrichment Program is offered Monday through Friday. Our program is held in the cafeterias at all schools. The program hours are 6:30am-6:00pm, with locations at Arrowood (serving Cox students), McKinley, Shawnee, Tecumseh and Holmes Elementary in Wilmington. Pre-registration is required. If school is closed because of weather the program will be held at the Xenia YMCA from 6:30am-6:00pm. The

program will include homework support, snack, group work, individual development and activities (games, art and crafts, music and fun). We will be implementing the four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility with the children. Striving for them to have fun, make new friends and learn new skills while offering a safe environment. Our intention for the upcoming year is to encourage students to become enthusiastic about reading, writing while bringing out their creativity. We utilize the Cincy Afterschool Curriculum, Kidz Math, Kidz Lit and CATCH that will help guide nutrition lessons, making conscious decisions on being active and further learning in a fun way.

We are looking forward to the new school year with new and familiar faces!
