SIMONE is 35-year-old local American Indian herbalist and a cultural counselor for families in her community and on the near-by American Indian reservation. She comes from a long line of herbalists and healers and is sought after for her medicinal knowledge and wise council. Simone is also the caretaker of her elderly mother Janice and her disabled uncle Pete, who is diabetic. She lives on the outskirts of Cut Bank and is one of the few community members who has access to a car during the start of the apocalypse.

To survive the apocalypse, Simone must find shelter, get food, and go to the Medical Center to pick up extra insulin for her uncle (medical kit), and get gas for her car. Simone must also reunite with her mother and uncle.

Hank has extensive knowledge of the majority of people living in Cut Bank and hopes one day to be elected as mayor of Cut Bank. Hank is popular with the community members in Cut Bank, except for the elderly people who do not share his “progressive” vision for the community. Hank owns a truck, but forgot to stop and fill up his truck with gas. At the time of the apocalypse Hank was at the local Middle School giving a talk about civic duties to the 6th grade class.

To survive the apocalypse, Hank must find shelter, food, and get gas for his truck. Hank also feels compelled to make sure any community members he comes across are taken care of.

As Greg is exiting the bank and making his way towards his car he misses the last step going down the stairs from his office and sprains his ankle.

To survive the zombie apocalypse, Jasper must find shelter and food box. However, because Jasper does not speak English, he must find someone who can interpret for him (someone who speaks both American Indian and English).

When the zombie apocalypse starts Fransico, is his hotel room posting pictures from his trip to his Facebook page. Luckily, Fransico already has a room reserved at the local Holiday Inn. However, Fransico must leave his hotel room to find food. Because Fransico is from out of town and speaks with a French accent he is mistaken for one of the Canadian zombies by the clerk at the Super Market. The store clerk begins to throw canned food at Fransico, hitting him one time in the head, causing an injury.

To survive the zombie apocalypse Fransico much obtain a food box, (but cannot buy one from the Super Market) and must get a medical kit for this head injury.
