Still creating an Announcement with a Pic. One may add comments. ••• And share inside the EDU.

But this seemingly benign-lookinglink leads to . . . (see next slide) . . .

Page 12: Meg Tufano's Peek at Google Classroom as an LMS

We’re in the Chrome Store with every distraction possible. Not sure whether this is available to students or not.

If I had a say, I’d say “NOT!” Too distracting.

Back to the Tour (Still in Announcements)

One can set Email Notification Levels

Page 16: Meg Tufano's Peek at Google Classroom as an LMS

One may comment to a point INSIDE of a picture. Very cool. (When pic is muted, you know you are in Comments.)

What you see when you click on “Help.”(We are still inside of “Announcements.”)

Page 18: Meg Tufano's Peek at Google Classroom as an LMS

It APPEARS that one could share an Announcement with the world (public URL).

Page 19: Meg Tufano's Peek at Google Classroom as an LMS

It APPEARS one must “update” through “refresh.” Not sure students would know to do that.

Creating an Assignment

Page 21: Meg Tufano's Peek at Google Classroom as an LMS

Google gives a good tour for creating Assignments

Page 22: Meg Tufano's Peek at Google Classroom as an LMS

Easy access to assignment resources.

Page 23: Meg Tufano's Peek at Google Classroom as an LMS

Due Dates (Hope they integrate calendars.)And do not require date-by-date entry of Assignments. <sigh>

Page 24: Meg Tufano's Peek at Google Classroom as an LMS

Nice feature. See at a glance how many have handed in the Assignment.

All in all, looks very streamlined, very easy to use. Hope they will incorporate Calendars. Have not checked out what reports are available as yet. Intuitive design. Assume Google Groups will be part of the software.

More when I know more! So far, so good!
